Dr. Lora Alvey Perry, MD

I’ve seen Dr Alvey Perry for years. She helped me through my third pregnancy and a few years later a hysterectomy. She is professional and a good listener. She is a great doctor for women in all seasons of life.

She is cold, dismissive and unfeeling. I almost always feel like an idiot because of the way she looks at me and responds to my questions. Lora obviously knows what she's talking about and has an apt answer but when it comes to sympathy she's apathetic and rude. I'm always waiting on her. One exam she had my remove my bottoms and wait 30 minutes for her to return. I was late once and told to reschedule. She is never ready on time. If you want someone that's abrupt and to the point, she is your woman. If you're afraid, she doesn't go out of her way at all to comfort or console you. I could go on and on and on and on. Had I had a different OB for both pregnancies it would have helped tremendously because I suffered some really scary things that yes were 'normal' for pregnancies but I'd have loved some encouragement or a kind word for my mental health which she didn't attend to, period. I do not recommend.

The doctor was very dismissive of my symptoms and quick to blame weight as the root cause without verifying with tests.

Dr Alvey is caring..i wasnt afraid to ask questions that i should know..i never knew thay doctors exist like her in Evansville..she cares about her patients and her profesional way shows it..i wouldnt want no other doctor..

She took the time to answer all questions and I didn’t feel rushed. Has a nice manner and seems very knowledgeable.

She has a great manner about her to make you comfortable & relaxed. She listens to all questions and concerns… never judging or rushing with her responses. I have been going to her for years, and will continue to do so!

I enjoy seeing Dr. Alvey Perry because she’s extremely thorough and if I ever have any questions, she always seems to know the answer. She’s been very informative, educational & overall genuine with her care. She details all of your options, while giving the pros & cons of each option as well. And I respect that a lot because that means she’s thinking ahead and trying to cover as much information as possible. I would recommend her to anyone!

Dr. Alvey Perry listened and answered all questions. She was very gentle and thorough during the exam, which is very hard to find anymore. I appreciated that she took time to discuss any concerns that I had and determine a new best method of birth control. She plans ahead to get your appointments set up and will work around your work schedule where (and if) possible. She is absolutely delightful.

Dr. Perry always takes the time to answer and all questions. I am currently in my 7 month of pregnancy with my first child and very happy to have her as my doctor.

Dr Perry is a very compassionate person who got me throught some rough moments in my life. Always return calls, spend valuable time with me during my visits. I could not have asked for a better doctor.

This doctor is one of the few that has ever treated me with any kind of dignity or respect. She's definitely not going to tip toe around an issue in order to spare feelings, but I find that to be so much more valuable because there is no room for misunderstanding. She showed me a ton of compassion through an incredibly difficult period, and I was a new patient to her in July so it's not like I've known her very long. 10/10 would recommend her entire facility.
