Dr. Lloyd Williams, MD

I chose this Dr. very carefully from his Bio which would lead you to believe he is a Christian Man from a Christian background. He has and does work in foreign lands to restore sight to those who cannot see. He is a man of few words during your exam. However, the words he did say to me after sharing the experience his own mother had with the surgery, he recommended to me were ” I will write this so your Insurance WILL cover this surgery”. Having no reason to doubt what he told me or to ask further questions i had the surgery. Only soon after the surgery to receive a bill I do not have the means to pay and my insurance notifying me they will NOT cover my surgery. He is no doubt an amazing surgeon. If you do not have money to pay for it BEWARE what you are told ASK questions or you may have to borrow money to pay something you are left to pay.

From the first telephone call to the follow up visit, my experience with Dr. Williams was extraordinary. I am an orthopedic surgeon and sustained an eye trauma riding motocross that caused a traumatic cataract I needed help with. I felt like i was in always in good hands at Duke and the patient experience at their facility in Arrington was ideal. Dr. Williams changed my life and got me back to enjoying my active lifestyle again. Now i can read without glasses and what was my 'bad' eye, is now my 'good' eye. Just superlative in every respect. Cannot recommend this top notch care highly enough. I can't think of any way the experience could have been better.
