Dr. Lizaida Medina Candelaria, MD

No complaints with Dr. Medina but her front office staff & office manager are the worse. If you want to schedule an appt, lose a day of work, only to find that they are not prepared...this is the place. We schedule an appt A MONTH IN ADVANCE the office supposedly sent the prescription for our soms vaccine to our pharmacy who we called after not hearing back. We had to call the office 3 times due to the lack of follow up after being told they would call us back & never. The week of our appt we called again & they finally faxed the script to the pharmacy & the next the day we find it’s on back order. The office manager, Ricky took no acctability and kept saying "I don't think you understand" as if I'm an idiot. I had to repeat myself 3 times as they would put me on hold to transfer the call to someone else without explaining our issue. He had the audacity to tell me they were doing us a FAVOR in calling in the script insinuating that I needed to drive 25 miles to pick it up. Stay away!!

She is literally the BEST pediatrician!!! My daughter is only 3 months and in both her 2 month and 3 month visit she was just smiling up a storm at her, she absolutely loves her. It makes me feel so much better about taking her to the doctor! I have never waited in the waiting room for more than 2 mins and I am seen right away by the nurse and Dr. Medina always comes in right after. They are amazing. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. Dr. Medina is not only smart but such a sweet person

Finally we found an excellent excellent pediatrician who actually takes her time and cares for each child. My grandchildren had the best experience with her. They were hospitalized at St. Mary’s and we had no answers. We were looking for a pediatrician who supports holistic parents. She is an amazing human being and we are grateful to have met her.

Dr. Medina is truly wonderful. As new parents she makes my husband and I feel so good. She is soft spoken and calming. She gives us the the options on spreading the vaccines out and is very accommodating. Dr. Medina is very relatable, I never feel rushed in our appointments and she will just sit and talk about any concerns we have. We always leave with all questions answered.

Dr.Medina is a great professional whose cares about her patients. Just entering from the door you feel like you are part of her family. Ricky the office manager is awesome and make feel comfortable. I recommend this office 100%.

Changed practices because my old Pediatrician's office just got too big for our preference. This practice is the epitome of truly individualized and attentive care. Dr. Medina treats our son as her own, follows up personally and does not rush you through the appointment. She does not pressure you to vaccinate but gives you the guidance you need as a parent to make intelligent choices. She is honest and trustworthy as she tells you what tests are truly needed vs optional.

Excellent service, little or no waiting time. Dr. Medina will make sure you have no questions before you leave her office. My kids adore her.

Excellent Pediatrician! Dr. Medina is always attentive, she is very thorough in her evaluations, and the kids enjoy their time at the office. Her office staff makes every effort to accommodate emergency appointments. Would definitely recommend.

She is the best. I was looking for a doctor like her for years and I finally found her.No complaints at all. Es muy profecional,dulce con los niños, me escucha como madre,escucha a los niños. Se mantiene en contacto los días siguientes en caso de q el niño está enfermo para ver como sigue ó en caso de q te refiera a un especialista. Tengo 2 hijos 6 y 3 años el de 6 jamás hizo click con sus pediatras anteriores y con ella fue instantáneo llego a casa diciéndole a su papá q le gustaba su pediatra.

Dr. Medina is an amazing doctor! She truly cares about the patient and parents. Both of my kids love to visit her, even when not sick. She is very caring with the kids. Her front desk personnel is very friendly. There is usually very little wait time. I recommend her 100%.
