Liza Maniquis-Smigel treated me like a drug seeker out of the blue. She was also very dismissive of my reasons for seeking healthcare. After some reluctant meager information gathering she aggressively sought my instant approval for prolotherapy while curtly stating that it would require cash because it is not medicaid approved. Without hesitation, she contemtuously ran me out of her establishment after a patient without a warning to me showed up to their appointment all the while mocking that she had real patients to assist. This happened on the one and only 'appointment' that I had with her which was months in waiting.

She is the best. She can work with many parts of the body and not only relieve the pain but cure the illness. She is my go-to person when I have mechanical problems with my body. She is kind and generous.

Dr. Maniquis-Smigel is an excellent physical medicine doctor. I had chronic neck pain that she resolved in one visit. As an 80 year old, I thought I would just have to learn to live with chronic pain and limited motion; Dr. Maniquis showed me that there are viable alternatives that work! Her diagnostic skills are impressive and her therapeutic knowledge is formidable. She is direct, caring, and compassionate. My life has changed.

She diagnosed my severe carpal tunnel syndrome right at the first apointment I had no idea wat was wrong with my hands although surgery did not improve I'm happy with the diagnoses by dr two thumbs up

Professional attitude and successful results of treatment, are instruments by which I judge my doctors.
More often then not, I will defer treatment from any physician, who shows lack of care, be it of a physical or spiritual nature. I am strict on these points, and they have served me well.

After months of intense pain in my thigh Liza treated me and after 2 treatments the pain has been gone for over 4 years! I wouldn't have believed that this would have helped much less have made the pain go away completely. I would recommend this for anyone who has pain that they have not been able to control.

At no time during the stem cell therapy experience did I feel uncomfortable as each process was clearly explained, there was no pain whatsoever, and I also had plesent music in the background.

Dr. Smigel and her staff are the best in the island and perhaps in the entire island of Hawaii. She is soft spoken, gentle and very knowlegeable. Her staff, Roquita, Shasa, and Adam are incredible. Its a team deserving a goldstar.
