To Whom This May Concern, I had the pleasure of visiting this facility today with a family member that's elder. The appointment was scheduled for 1pm and the office is under staff. You are speaking with someone to process you in by a tablet. The assistant call my family member back, took all her vitals and placed her in a room, the wait was 1 hour before,I walked out the room to find someone to ask how much longer. That's when I see the doctor and I ask how much longer ,she stated that she's on her way in now.During the walk to the room I asked could she provide the paperwork to apply for a handicap voucher for my family member who is walking slower due to health issues ,she tells me no,the patient has to have medical conditions to receive that paperwork, once in the room the doctor goes over her conditions and list everything that's a qualification for a elder to have a handicap voucher, Ok I ask her what about FMLA paperwork so family or someone can be responsible for assuring she arrives at this office safely and efficiently, it was another no, she tells me,you will have to have this paperwork sent to her.I DO NOT think this doctor is compassionate and care for the elderly in her community, I advise anyone who is under her care reevaluate and show up with your family members who visit this office. This is unacceptable in Dekald any where else, the health of our families and members of our community is very important, they deserve better.I font care what type of day the doctor is having, you still have to be professional and Dr Welch is not in jeans and sneakers, nope .It was not nor a pleasant doctor visit. Find a doctor that care without attitude, because she's having a bad day.

Dr. Welch very satisfied with her service
Knowledgeable, no nonsense and doesn't sugar coat "less than good news". Refers to specialists as neeeded. Phine lines tend to be very busy and sometimes a long wait to get a "person" on the line. I enjoyed having her as my primary physician.

Good luck getting an appointment
You have to call to make an appointment but they never actually answer calls. Even if you are hold for 15 minutes, you still won't be helped. They prefer to hang up on people rather than answer the phone!

Dr Welch is one of the most compelling doctors that I've ever had in my life. She has her patients best interests at hand and talks to you in a way that you can understand what is going on with your diagnosis.

I was looking for a new primary care doctor I researched her on Google and I went to the office I was very disappointed I had pre-completed my papers and two days later when I return from my visit they couldn’t find my paperwork. I told them that I was interviewing the staff and the office first-strike was when they did not have my completed paperwork Second strike the doctor walked right by me she did not introduce herself and she didn’t have on the doctors coat so I didn’t know who she. The medical assistant told me that was the doctor when she came into the room to see me she was going over my history I’m a thyroid cancer survivor she asked do I follow up with my specialist and that if I didnt in her words she say if you didn’t I was gonna say bye girl There was no professionalism, no bedside manner I feel as if she didn’t care about patients or at least me and never returned back

I am unsure where all the raves on this website are coming from when on every other site she has low ratings - she must have had people fill this out for her survey but the truth is the doctors office is not a positive experience. The office staff is rude and doctors lisa Welch is not at all helpful or knowledgeable about disease. I went there with symptoms and was simply blown off and barely asked any questions after already experiencing poor service from the office. Not a good doctor visit

If you would like a positive doctor experience - choose another doctor’s office. To begin with - this office staff is rude and impersonable (the front desk associate must be Dr.welch’s cousin because she has received several complaints and has not been let go yet) Besides the rude attitude of the front desk attendant (who has been known to hang up the phone when she is annoyed. Look it up ) dr.lisa Welch is not one to truly listen to the parients concerns and help. Just prescribe random pills

If you would like to have a positive experience, please choose another doctor - there is a reason why this office has 3.5/3.3 ratings on all of the other sites. The customer service is poor and your needs as a client are not tended to. Your symptoms are ignored and blown off ( the only thing that matters is setting up random appointments for more money) Not actually caring for the client. This is a business built on patient care, yet this doctor and the office staff are not pleasant at all

The customer service here is poor. The front desk agent is rude, and hangs up the phone when she does not want to help you any longer. I would not recommend this office for anyone seeking a good experience

Dr Welch was open and friendly and I immediately connected with her. She had actually read my file and she asked pertinent questions about my health issues and medications. She took me off a blood pressure medication because it was recalled. She was concerned about some meds another doctor had prescribed and I told her I would follow up with the doctor. Her staff person drew my blood and I was happy that I didn’t have to go to a lab since they sent it to lab . I was extremely satisfied. Wooho

Adequate medical care most of the time. She sometimes seemed distracted and rushed. Had no major medical problems, but would be concerned about her handling of challenging or complex medical problems.
