Dr. Lisa Walker, MD

Dr. Walker gives a thorough exam. She considers you as a whole person, not jus a body part. She specializes in patients with high risk for breast cancer.

I have been a patient of Dr Walker for about 2-3 years now when she was highly recommended to me by a nurse friend and I’m so glad I was referred to her. She is a wonderful, caring and knowledgeable doctor who I am comfortable to put my trust in. She explains everything and offers her advice or recommendations but yet respect’s you decision. I’m just disappointed that she is no longer doing surgery because she is so excellent but understand her wanting time to enjoy her grandchildren. But she put me in good hands with recommending another excellent surgeon for me that she has known and worked with for years so that I feel like I’m in good hands. I feel she truly cares about her patients!

I look forward t seeing her each visit. She’s very personable, explains things well, answers all questions, and makes me feel comfortable with my status. I have total trust in her.

I have been seeing Dr. Walker since 2003. I find her to be patient, kind and extremely caring with her patients. I am fournate to have her as my doctor.

Dr Walker was wonderful, as usual. Very caring, listened and answered questions. Regina, the nurse, is very caring, too.

Dr Walker has been by surgeon since 2014. Her follow up care is amazing. She is proactive, monitoring my health annually to catch any irregularities before they become issues.

Dr. Walker is a fantastic breast surgeon. Dr. Walker reviews your test results and questionnaire, then she listens to your concerns and questions. She then addresses them. After leaving her office I felt relieved and confident about our discussion.

I like to do things more naturally and she was completely respectful of that when most doctors try to bully me into doing things their way. Dr. Walker is excellent. She really cares about your progress and care. She did my double masectomy and when I had drainage issues, she went out of her way to meet me at her office for extra drainage. She listens to you and has a positive attitude. I would highly recomment Dr. Walker.

Takes all the time you need to be comfortable with information and emotions! Truly interested in you; you are not just another puppy in the puppy mill. Staff is competent; her assistant, Michaella, is the best!

Dr. Walker is extremely well educated and experienced in her field. I am very fortunate to have found her, as she was able to identify my cancer, which was not evident in my biopsies. As far as I am concerned, she saved me from a very uncertain future. She is kind, caring, compassionate and personable. She takes time to speak with you in person and on the phone, so that you understand what is happening, during a most difficult time. On a side note, her office has a lovely environment.
