Dr Strahm actually listens and helps!
Dr. Strahm has been very diligent about trying to find the root causes of my various issues. She also stays current on treatments and best practices and referred me to another doctor for a specialized procedure that has helped me tremendously. Highly recommend for your endocrine needs!

No follow up, no nothing
they are supposed to be injecting me every six months. They can't do this on their own and need reminders very step of the way. Even after I have the drug shipped to their office they don't call to tell me it is there. This is detrimental care. Recalling patients is a standard of care and they do not meet this standard.

Best Endocrinologist in SoCal!
This is the most attentive Doctor you could ask for. After having thyroid issues for years, coupled with two pregnancies - my quality of life was suffering to say the least. This was the first Doctor who took a step back, listened did all of the necessary blood work to get a better idea of the issue. She not only solved my thyroid problems, but my weight issue along with it. I cannot recommend Dr Strahm enough.

My favorite doctor.
I have never written a review for a doctor. I finally found an endocrinologist who takes the time to actually listen to me and not just look at bloodwork. I wish all my doctors were as patient, smart, thoughtful and thorough as Dr. Strahm. I feel really lucky that I was referred to her. After losing my thyroid a few years ago, and going to two awful endocrinologists, I believe I really know what I’m talking about now. I can’t recommend her enough

Incredible care

Dr. Strahm is wonderful, open-minded physician
Those who struggle with thyroid and endocrine disorders often find themselves frustrated as it's a complicated and not a one-size-fits-all disease. Dr. Strahm is empathetic, listens to patient concerns, explains well, and is clever and creative in finding solutions. I would recommend Dr. Strahm for anything thyroid-related in the San Diego area.

Rude Staff
Front desk staff was extremely unprofessional. Upon checking in, I was told what the total for my visit would be which was significantly higher than what I was originally told via phone when scheduling the appointment. I’m currently uninsured so I was not prepared for that high of a charge, as you can imagine. I took a second to decide if I should go ahead and be seen but ultimately knew I couldn’t afford it. I told the girl behind the counter I would have to reconsider being seen and was hit with a “DON’T COME BACK” as I was walking out the door. Never was I once rude to any of them. I never got a chance to see Dr.Strahm but I can imagine she’s as unprofessional as her staff… or her staff is miserable due to her working conditions. Yikes.

I have been struggling with diabetes for at least 10 years; finding a decent and proactive doctor has been next to impossible. I have been under Dr. Strahm's care for over a year now , and I couldn't be more satisfied. She has put in the time and effort to give me the support that I desperately need. She has helped me through the painstaking process with my insurance company, thus insuring I receive the latest and most appropriate medications available. Just to say I'm extremely grateful is a huge understatement. I would highly recommend her to family, friends and anyone who needs that level of treatment and attention.

Dr. Lisa Strahm, Endocrinologist in San Diego, is Excellent in Communications, Knowledge, and Willingness to Seek out Optimal Health Benefits. Within the world of "BLOOD" Compositions (hormones ect...), there are "Ranges" that are used as Guidelines. But, to find a Doctor who is willing to Adjust Your Hormones in Maximum Efforts to Give You Optimal Health is becoming unheard of. I highly recommend Dr. Strahm. For the Patient who gave a "1 STAR RATING", It is Very apparent that the lady is Not Being Fair in her rating due to her turbulent health (most likely). Dr. Strahm has been Nothing Short of Professional, Fair and Help full- So much so that I had my Son Seek out (he has been a patient for some time now) Dr. Strahm for assitance as well.

I highly recommend Dr. Strahm as a provider! She takes her time with her patients and is never rushed, listens attentively, and answers all my questions. She is very knowledgable in her profession and also very compassionate. I feel safe having her as my doctor and I know that I am getting the proper treatment I need under her care.

Dr. Strahm was substituting for my regular endocrinologist and I had just 2 appointments with her in 2020. When it was time for another follow-up this year, I was disappointed to hear that she had moved on to a different practice. I was very impressed in those two visits because of her evidence-based approach and deep knowledge of endocrinology, so I Googled her name and found her new practice. I look forward to being under her care.

Very disappointed in every aspect of my experience with Dr. Strahm. She performed a ultrasound and subsequent biopsy on my thyroid due to a nodule on the right side. During the sonogram she noticed a nodule on the left side, too. When it came to the biopsy she was going to biopsy the right side and I reminded her of the left side. She said she guessed she could biopsy that side, too. During the biopsy she made several remarks to the technician about how bad things looked, etc. like I wasn't even there. I thought it was not very professional or reassuring. After cancer diagnosis on left AND right side, fast forward to surgery and then trying to get a hold of her to discuss findings, scans, bloodwork, etc. She can't make the time to call. Receptionist calls back but is not able to answer questions. Very frustrating. Found a great NEW doctor, who in one day answered all my questions, spoke to my surgeon, pathologist, radiologist and coordinated treatment. That is called patient care.
