I really appreciated the presence Dr Sprowl when I was discussing something vulnerable. I appreciated her listening to me.

Used to be great.
Non-compassionate, non-caring. All about the money. Was a patient since 2012 and really had no major complaints. Something has changed post COVID. She and her staff doesn't treat patients with respect any longer. Dr Sprowl hasn't kept the same medical assistant for more than year since 2012, that says a lot about how she treats those closest to her. The kicker for me was this past July. I had COVID, since I'm a type 2 diabetic with high blood pressure, that put me in a at risk category. Called Dr Sprowl for medical advice and was told by her staff, 'Nothing we can do, go to the ER if you choose'. Unacceptable. She's my doctor for crying out loud. Had lab work done, her advice was three bullet statements. This condition fine, this one had improved, blood glucose out of control. No phone call, nothing, this was in a letter! Enough is enough. Start treating people with dignity and respect. I have more examples but suffice to say, I'm done with her 'lack' of services.

Dr Sprowl's can be compassionate, a good communicator and is usually easy to get into see. She is very focused on weight--even fluctuations of a few lbs--and brings weight up at all of my appointments. She is not a great listener and seems to assume non-compliance. For example, she has questioned whether I am keeping up with treatments when the results don't match her expectations. Because of this bias, it can take her some time to course correct.

I've been a patient of Dr. Sprowl for about 3 years and she's been awesome. She even remembers what sporting events I participated within the last year and asks about it. She listens, she is patient, she provides clear explanations and directions, and I never felt rushed. She's also been great with my husband who has many more medical issues and she always considers non-medication treatment when recommending a course of action. Very lucky to have found her.

She has been brief, short, unfeeling, fake feeling. She acts like she hates being a doctor. I believe she wants to be doing something different as she just goes thru the motions
