Dr. Lisa Pawelski, MD

I have seen her more than once, very strange bedside manner, inappropriate comments while doing a full body skin check.. After my last visit I knew I could not go back. She made me very uncomfortable, does not handle the issue you are there for.

Dr Pawelski explained everything she did or found in a way I could understand and respect. She took the time to do an thorough exam. She's the best dermatologist I've ever seen.

I made an appointment for a routine all over skin check with Dr. Pawleski. When she entered the room she asked the reason for my visit. I told her I was there for a full body skin check. She looked at me, and said that dermatologist don’t have time for this and my pcp should handle this. (My pcp was appalled at this response). Needless to say, I was embarrassed and confused. My friends all talk about their yearly skin checks with their dermatologists. And, preventative articles have always encouraged it. I felt compelled to write this review now - my appointment was a few years ago- because my brother was recently diagnosed with stage 2 b melanoma and I have a strong family history of skin cancer. Thankfully, his dermatologist had time for his skin check.

She is the best. Totally cares about people and knows her job. She is so good people wait for a very long time to get an appointment and that is why you need to call and cancel your appointments. It’s rude to people who want a Derm. that listens to you. I highly recommend her. She is well worth the wait.

I found Dr. Pawelski very strange and asked inappropriate questions. This lady definitely has issues and I would never see her again.

On a regular basis, I waited 2 hours for my scheduled appointment. I had to cancel an appointment due to career and family issues. Since I didn't reschedule and return their call 3 months later, they dropped me as a patient. I'm happy to go somewhere else that doesn't send threatening letters for not rescheduling.
