Not a good bedside manner
Doctor Haynie seemed to be going through the motions. She was not a good listener and moved into a preachy, teacher mode. I am 64 years old and don’t need to be spoken to like a high schooler. Bedside manner and a rapport are critical in this relationship, she has neither. After Dr Goode this was a horrible experience. I will find another practice but hate to leave such a nice and professional staff.

First encounter ever with the doctor
I went to see her because I had experienced a panic attack. My blood pressure monitor had also detected irregular heartbeat. I wanted to get an EKG and discuss my blood pressure readings with her. She Immediately began talking to me about my cholesterol readings and insisting that I’ll hear her out about the various drugs available to treat high cholesterol. I told her that my readings had come down I had lost 10 pounds and that I was going to start working harder on lowering the cholesterol reading However I did mention that my ratio was within healthy limits. She told me that she could not be my primary doctor because I refuse to take the medicine to lower my cholesterol and that it would make her and her practice look bad. She told me not to return. Also told her that I thought the medical industry was over medicating people and that that was why most Americans are obese today I also commented on her weight and that’s when she got extremely upset with me. She told me to go .

My experience was a standard annual physical exam. She just acted strangely. Her instructions during the exam were delivered in a sing-song voice. She seemed detached. Moreover, she ordered a PSA blood test, which is such an unreliable test that it's not recommended as part of a routine exam. On the other hand, she did not perform the manual prostate exam, which is normal practice.

I went to see her for severe anxiety and mild depression after i was misdiagnosed by her, and she will not prescribe any anti-depressants or anti-anxiety medications.

If I could give negative stars I would. As a health care provider myself I am appalled of the treatment Dr. Haynie had given my mother. The first occasion my mother had a UTI and do you know what she told her instead of prescribing an antibiotic? She said go to a urgent care center. Unfortunately it did not stop there. She saw Dr. Haney a second time ... my mother had thrush. She refused to look in her mouth! This physician refused care. She should be ashamed of herself.
