Dr. Lisa Chorzempa-Schainis, MD

After waiting for over thirty minutes in the exam room, I have never been more rushed through a doctor’s appointment in my life. She was entirely unapologetic, barely answered any of my questions, and did not seem interested in me as a person or a patient. She ran out of the room so fast that it took me a minute to realize that the appointment was over and I did not know where to go next for the next steps. It was really disheartening to be cared for so little by a physician when I put so much trust in them.

Didn’t listen to concerns. Was very adamant that there was only one way to do things, and if I wanted to explore alternatives, she just told me that I was wrong. Except a quick google search on the information she shared with me revealed it to not be fully accurate. On the first visit, she also started deleting things off my MyChart and medical history without even talking to me first. Apparently she specializes in hysterectomys, which is not why I visited. Maybe she is more knowledgeable in that subject?

Easily the best gynecologist I’ve seen. Answers all my questions and talks through my concerns. Sometimes it is a bit of wait, but that’s not uncommon for any doctor I’ve seen, no matter the specialty.

Dr. Chorzempa was amazing. The first gyno who listened to my concerns. She did the proper testing I needed and recommended an IUD for me. I was really scared - we've all heard the horror stories - but she took the steps to help me be relaxed, and overall the procedure was painless and over in less than 5 minutes. Would definitely recommend!

I've been seeing Dr. Chorzempa for almost 13 years now and I recommend her to everyone! I actually moved about 2 hours north a couple years ago, and I still make the trip to see her. That's how much I trust her when it comes to my health. She's caring, understanding, and has the knowledge to assist with any issues. She's my go-to and if you need to find a trustworthy doctor for your health needs, she's the one you want to see!

Dr. Chorzempa remains one the best MD’s I’ve encountered. I love her bedside manner and her ability to not only be professional but down-to-earth and relatable. Thank you for always making me feel comfortable.

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Chorzempa for 15 years. She and her staff are highly capable and caring. Thanks to Dr. Chorzempa’s reminders to get annual mammograms my breast cancer was diagnosed when it was at the earliest possible detectable stage. A less insistent doctor may not have followed up to be sure the patient was getting the screenings they need. It’s entirely possible that had I waited my cancer diagnosis could have come at a more advanced stage. I am now several years out of my successful treatment and doing great, and at each annual exam with Dr. Chorzempa I am reminded of how lucky I am that she - and her staff - are on my medical team.
