Do not trust her
She refused to treat me after accepting responsibility for my care and having my doctor send me directly to her. She documented my medical chart completely wrong, and then refused to answer any of my questions when she made a decision causing detriment to my health. She also lied to cover herself instead of treating me appropriately and with care. She brushed me off, made me sound like I was crazy and she prolonged my health issues unnecessarily. I now have to have it corrected by my actual doctor. Her bio states that she loves caring for women but her actions say otherwise. She behaves lazily, and doesn't take the time to actually review test results appropriately, leading to misdiagnosis and frustration. It's a blessing this lady didn't treat me. She's proven to be incompetent and unreliable. Listen to the other 1 star reviews. They are an accurate representation of her as a provider. I believe that if she had treated me that she would have caused me harm.

Dr Casanova is the BEST OBGYN doctor I have ever had. She delivered my daughter 17 years ago by emergency c-section and I have been under her care every since. She calmed me down and comforted me even to the point of holding me while I was getting the epidural assuring me everything would be fine and it indeed was fine I have a thriving healthy vibrant 17year old daughter ??. This past week Dr Casanova did a hysterectomy on me and again I had the same experience with her even with the difficulties she faced during my surgery. She called me the next morning to check on me and personally visited me every day of my hospital stay. I had a question after being discharged and she personally called me to reassure me I was fine. She genuinely cares for me and my health and I have referred several family members and friends to her and will continue to do so! I could go on and on about her professionalism, great bedside manners, her thorough knowledge of the female body, etc.

Dr. Cassanova was the worst doctor I have ever visited. I do not recommend anyone seeing this doctor, I was traumatized by our visit and felt very unsafe by the care she was giving for many reasons. I had some issues with my feet that I thought I explained well, she mocked me as if I wasn’t being truthful and indicated in my chart she saw no issues with my feet and didn’t provide support. I had also been advised by someone else to take pepsid for heartburn which I did, I told her it wasn’t working well and she proceeded to prescribe me the same medicine I had purchased over the counter then wrote in my chart that I wasn’t taking the medicine as she suggested even though I clearly said I was. She didn’t listen to anything I said. To top it off she said my baby was “abnormally small” because of “poor nutrition” didn’t ask any questions and made me feel like I had done something wrong. I eat very well but am under 100 lbs. I was crying profusely after our visit. I felt mortified. Horrible

Dr. Casanova was excellent. She listened and reassured me about my concerns, and helped develop a plan moving forward that was simple and focused on my needs. She was easy to talk to and I didn’t feel rushed. She even took the time to see if I might be a candidate for extended screening for breast cancer due to family history. I was very happy with my visit.

Dr. Casanova has been my primary ob/gyn for over 15 years. She has always listened to, and addressed, any concerns I've had in a caring, professional, and in my opinion, very thorough way. While this practice does have you see all doctors on staff during pregnancy b/c they take turns being on call at the hospital, I was lucky enough to have her for the delivery of one of my babies and she was wonderful during that experience as well...

Dr. Casanova would not acknowledge any of the medical malpractice errors of her colleague in my care. She would not listen to my request to change policy to prevent others from needless suffering as I have. She told me that even though I was forced to have a c-section against my will, "all that matters is a healthy baby" even though neither I nor my child are healthy. Do not visit this women's health doctor if you expect your provider to care either for women or for health.
