Dr. Khalil is an excellent doctor who takes the time to listen. She is pleasant, asks questions, listens attentively and communicates so that you understand. Some may say that waits can be too long; that's relative. I would ask the question, if you want you doctor to listen and understand your issues, I do not mind the wait. I have had doctors cut me off and leave without listening to my concerns. To her, you're not another body passing through. She cares and has a wonderful bedside manner that I find many doctor's lack. The office staff may not be the friendly like Dr. K but they get the job done! I do not have issues when I need their help. They are not rude; I've been in offices with rude staff. They are professional and do their jobs. When you are ill or need care, you want a doctor who is competent, patient, caring, efficient, and will put your health first. I would recommend Dr. Khalil.

Every visit with Dr. Khalil is excellent. We trust her completely, and appreciate her educational approach to our care. She and her staff keep us well informed about our health needs and responsibilities. Dr. Khalil communicates well with staff, patients, and specialists. She and her staff members are responsive and compassionate. We are grateful that she is helping us to navigate the challenges we face as our bodies age.

I had insurance but her front desk insisted I pay anyway. The front desk was so bad to everyone that I didn’t stay with Dr, Khalil. Two YEARS later I was reimbursed for that overpayment. If you need urgent walk-in care, bring a pillow. The sickest patients wait forever to be worked in. Front desk decision again, I would guess. The doctor herself is very good and concerned about your health (although she’s quick to change up your meds) but she allows (tolerates? encourages?) front staff actions.

Dr. Khalil is a wonderful listener and she is good at explaining conditions. Once you are face to face with her, the quality of care is excellent. My reservation is the procedure the outer office follows when you arrive. You sign in on a clipboard and then someone opens the window a crack, takes the clipboard and after a few minutes they ask for your ID. When someone has my driver’s license and medical card, I prefer to keep them in my vision. Are the patients so bad now that this is necessary?

I have been going to Dr. Khalil for a year. During that time, I have had no serious problems. However, it is especially important to me at age 70 to have a doctor who listens, cares and knows what is in my chart. Dr. Khalil seems to be that kind of doctor. I am still getting to know her, but so far, I really like her. She seems to have that combination of professional attitude and warmth. Her staff seems to be hard working professionals as well.
