High Recommendation for Dr. Lay
Telehealth
I have many years working in a highly rated & respected Mental Health hospital that treats all facets of MH issues. I am now a client who sought help to identify the correct medications to treat depression and anxiety and work with my other Healthcare medications. Not every psychiatrist knows how to integrate the two issues and find medications that don't interfere with with a complex medical history!Dr. Lay is very professional, great listener and empathetic. She always makes sure based on symptoms that the doses your are on are correct and effective. I would say that if you live in Las Vegas, you will not find anyone better than Dr. Lay.

After years of therapy with Dr Lay, my insurance was no longer accepted, no fault of my own. If this happens to you, don't expect an personal information or condolences from her . No empathy or sense of caring existed. Considering the openness of the trade, one might expect a different ending.

Best Psychiatrist I've ever Had
Telehealth
Don't know why there are any bad reviews - Dr. Lay is the best psychiatrist I've ever had. I recently switched insurances and had to switch Doctors and I'm considering going back to pay full price just so I can continue with her. She is personable but also very knowledgeable and direct. I really appreciate that she doesn't try to push medication on me while also being honest about potential side effects and repercussions.

Dr. Lay is excellent at what she does. She's not only knowledgeable, but she's also very compassionate and caring. She always took the time to address my questions and concerns. Sessions never felt rushed. She seemed genuinely interested in how I've been feeling and what's been going on in my life. She helped me get on the right medications, and made me feel safe and comfortable.

Dr. Lay is amazing. She is an amazing listener, often has terrific suggestions and is willing to adjust medication as needed. She doesn't over medicate and is overall a fantastic practitioner. It is hard to find a good psychiatrist in this town, but I'm blessed to have found her!

Ive been seeing Dr. Lay since 2016 (I think?) for depression and anxiety, and she is BY FAR the BEST psychiatrist and second-best doctor at all that I've ever seen. And I've seen a lot of doctors! She's one of the few doctors I've seen who I really feel genuinely cares about my well-being and personal progress, and not just as "another patient". If you need a psychiatrist and you have the opportunity to see her as a patient, I would very highly recommend it.

Dr. Lay is the second psychiatrist I have seen in the last 2 years. At first, I wasn't sure about her. But after a couple medication changes, and a couple more appointments she has helped tremendously. She has given me the working diagnosis, and has done an excellent job at explaining medications. She has listened to my side effects and has changed meds accordingly. As with most doctors, it's a matter of finding one that works for you.

It was obvious I was being rushed out the door the second I sat down. Wasn't really listening to me. Then, a rude goodbye an didn't even guide me back out of the maze of offices. Zero compassion. Zero concern. Refused to accept side effect I am feeling. Please, do NOT even consider wasting your time to be treated like you are wasting her time.
