I needed a primary care doctor in the Gulf shores area on short notice. Dr McCormick was able to get me in quickly. Nice facility. Friendly and helpful staff. Dr McCormick was friendly and answered my questions. She is my new PCP. Highly tecommend her.

I experienced a lack of friendliness and empathy trying to get an initial appt through SOUTH BALDWIN MEDICAL GROUP's Primary Care appointment setting staff - poor attitudes. Then the reception at Dr. McCormick's office was condescending. Leaving for the appt I had found my car battery dead. I called the appt setting department again, told them the situation, and that I would be about 10-15 mins late because I had opted to ride my bike. The appt had meant something to me. Arriving out of breath at 3:14, introducing myself, and submitting the papers I had completed ahead of time, I was greeted with "Your appt was at 3." The call center had not relayed the message, and my own explanation garnered no words of appreciation or empathy. So while waiting for the receptionist "to see if Dr. McCormick would see me," I decided I deserve better. I canceled, kept my papers and did myself the favor of finding a PCP who cares me as a whole person, include these aspects of my experiences as a patient.

My husband was given a serious health scare this past week. Once we called as new patients, giving reason for his visit. He was scheduled appointment immediately. She requested appropriate test A.S.A.P. high priority. Then within a couple of days all test were complete with results reported to her office. She called us at home that evening so we would not worry over the weekend and he could know the results was more positive than anticipated. She scheduled proper care and treatment with specialist. And expect him on to be on the road too recover quickly. Thank you Dr. McCormack for you concern and care given to him as well as your kindness and support shown to me. We highly recommend Lindsey McCormick and will continue to see her for all our health care needs. Thank you.
