I came in to establish care and have the doctor exam a vulva varicose vein that has been bothering me for months. That issue was barely discussed after she nonchalantly said she felt something in my breast and ordered an MRI, which I've never had nor could I feel what she was trying to get me to feel. I understand she may deal with this daily, but my mind was reeling after she said that. It was hard to even think straight. She was very quick about everything and I would've loved for her to take more time to explain things and to just show some empathy.

I didn't feel rushed but I feel like she was a little annoyed by my questions. Trying to plan for a baby is overwhelming and I want to be the most prepared I can be, so I had a lot of questions.

I saw Dr. Wardle twice [...]. Both times, she was on her phone while I was trying to talk to her but the phone never went off or vibrated, so as far as I know, it wasn't an emergency that she open it. My condition wasn't really explained, either, and I had to ask questions to get any information [...] There didn't seem to be much concern. I'm sure what she told me is routine for her, but it's not for me, and I prefer a provider who keeps this in mind with their patients.

Profesional
My experience was great. The staff and Dr. Wardle were all professional and attentive. She showed patience and educated me in areas I knew little about. The place was clean, beautiful designed and organized. I am great full and thankful I was seen by them. My wait time was acceptable.

Friendly
Dr. Wardle was friendly. However, she made me do an unncessary pap smear test. I had a pap smear in 2022 and she made me do a repeat in 2023 the test is only indicated every 3-5 years depending on hpv test, age etc. Whenever i brought up concerns about fibroids she seemed hesitant and kept making referrals elsewhere. She seems friendly but misinformed or not updated on clinical practice guidelines.

No bedside manner
First time seeing her and she didn’t introduce herself, instead went right into talking about my BP from four weeks prior and my weight. My BP today was 127/74. There was no reason to even comment on it. Not one other doctor I’ve seen has brought up my weight and I’m 32 weeks pregnant. She wasn’t friendly at all. There is a way to go about your concerns without making your patient feel bad about themselves - she certainly hasn’t found a way to do that yet.

She was rude, dismissive and actually laughed at me. I felt so small and unheard. It really was a demeaning experience.

Terrible
I saw Dr. Wardle in 2018. I feel that my voice needs to be heard & I think others need to be warned. I was called back and told immediately "oh we didn't know you were going to be this big we need a bigger gown" and then met with a disgusted attitude toward me. The doctor did not want to talk about anything other than my weight and how surgery may be the only option for me "at this point". I will tell you right now I weighed around 250 lbs at that time & I have absolutely seen people loose weight without surgery. She was extremely rough during the exam, causing me to bleed when I left. I now know that this wasn't okay, I should have never been treated this way. I have seen different obgyns since her and I have never had a visit anything like my one with Dr. Wardle. She is unprofessional, rude and I'm honestly not sure how she is still practicing medically. Doctors must be able to work with and respect ALL bodies and people. I would never recommend her or her staff to anyone.

She refused to have a conversation with me regarding my concerns and came in with preconceived notions. Dismissed everything as being "fat". She acted as though it was an inconvenience that I had questions and concerns and would only stop to answer if I left her no choice. She took zero history and fat shamed me while recovering from an Eating Disorder. I would not recommend Dr. Wardle for care.

Dr. Wardle did my c-section. I particularly appreciated how she listened to what I wanted, suggested I write everything out in a birth plan, and helped me achieve the experience I hoped for. I also really liked her communication style. No nonsense, straight, and to the point.

I have been seeing Dr. Wardle since 2016 and have tried to give her a fair chance. She has never addressed any of my concerns, I've had to be diagnosed with PCOS+Endo by my primary. She is exceptionally rough with swabbing to the point that I have bled before. When asked, I say no to STD testing, but I am ALWAYS tested for everything under the sun. I have one partner and no need for testing. I am sure the other doctors in the practice are wonderful. Dr. Wardle is not.
