I've seen Dr. Niehaus several times. She is determined to help. Yes, she double checks everything and no- she will not interfere in any specialists treatment. She arranges lab tests and referrals, researches exercises and alternative medications; along with diet and life style changes for my long term treatment and quality of life. I didn't present with an "easy' or immediate short term problem but am an older patient with multiple conditions that effect everything from my breathing and heart,-along with a blood disorder diabetes and cancer. She hasn't given up on me. Need a primary care Physician? Are you willing to take an active part in your medical treatment? Then I recommend Dr.Niehaus. If you can't write down your symptoms, keep track of when they occur along with medications, diet and exercise -she may not be the right doctor for you.

Dr Neihaus acted as if she couldn't care less about any issues I had. She chastised me for not having had a flu or pneumonia shot. Quite frankly, I left her office very dissatisfied with her demeanor and lack of concern. I will not be returning.

Dr. Neihaus is friendly, well intentioned, and responds to reasonable requests for lab tests, referrals, or prescriptions. On the other hand, she’s unwilling to do extra research to answer questions in areas she lacks answers. She often won’t directly answer questions I leave in the patient communication system ("MyChart"), and instead replies “make and appointment” for an answer. This is frustrating as the patient message system is intended for patients get answers to non-urgent medical questions withOUT the time, delay, and cost of an office a visit. Everyone is entitled to make mistakes, but I should mention she misdiagnosed my chronic cough as COPD (the pulmonary specialist I later absolutely ruled that out) and put me on the wrong medication. She also failed to order a bone density scan under conditions that I later learned by standard medical practice indicated I needed one. As a result my osteoporosis was detected (and treatment delayed) five years later than it should

My first visit with Dr Neihaus was positive. My second visit was a year later. It was later in the day, and she seemed in a hurry. She disregarded my specialists concerns, misdiagnosed a pain complaint prescribing exercises that led to damage that required surgery to repair. Lastly, she refused to do a female annual exam because “studies show its okay to go 5 years now, and your last one has only been 3 years ago”. Would never see her again.

While I didn’t mind her laissez faire attitude toward medical-related questions about my health, she overlooked very sensitive and crucial care needs for my wife with family planning. When confronted with a very serious medical concern, she became curt, rude, argumentative, and dismissive of us. It turned out that the oversight nearly severely affected our child’s early development. Had my wife not had the presence of mind to be her own doctor, it would’ve been a disastrous outcome.

Dr. Linda Niehaus is not likely to be referred or recommended to anyone. Her attitude is overwhelming negative and arrogant. She was not helpful at all when I went to see her with a serious broken leg injury. She was dismissive and smug- apologizing later that day by a phone call, when she realized that she was rude and completely wrong. It was unacceptable, and her practice was notified. Her overall reputation appears to be poor.

What a terrible doctor. She really doesn't offer any real help, and often says she is, 'uncomfortable with ordering those types of labs, you should go to an endocrinologist, Doesn't feel 'comfortable with changing that medication, you need a specialist.' yet doesn't offer a referral. Seems to want problems to resolve on their own. My family used to see the previous dr she replaced, and all of us but 1 are unhappy, out of 13 family members.

I would rather die under a bridge then see her again. I have a complicated medical situation and her lack of awareness and total lack of compassion was stunning. Her biases are readily apparent If you do not get better right away with the products she prescribes then you are labeled as non compliant and she threatens to fire you. Also her office is poorly run, she is 1-2 hours behind schedule, my 1st 2 appointments were a total waste of time as they failed to get my medical records in time.

When a doctor laughs at, or dismisses: comments about severe and chronic pain (due to a life-long condition), it's a real sign of her inherent inability to understand (and address) the concerns and considerations of a patient. Dr. Niehaus was (and could only be) my doctor briefly- I now need a new P.C.P.-I'll never know if her knowledge was proficient: she obviously had no desire to listen, help, or be thorough- in dealing with any of my issues! Degenerative nerve pain is serious! WORST P.C.P.

Without doubt the worst doctor I've ever had: Insensitive, condescending, and inconsiderate! Her demeanor is uncaring and cold: she showed little-to-no respect for towards me, and was very irresponsible in her role of discontinuing a long-taken, high-dosage benzodiazapine! I am now very glad to never again take this medication ( I had taken it for 9 years, under doctor supervision). However, the 10+ months of withdrawal (a circumstance all other doctors acknowledge- she doesn't) was plain unsafe

Just had a visit with Dr. Neihaus. She's amazing! She listened to all of my concerns, was very warm and friendly, and had no problem adding some labs to my blood draw that I asked her to to give me piece of mind. Highly recommended!

My appointment with Dr. Hiehaus was great! She was incredibly understanding and attentive. She took all of my concerns seriously, answered all of my questions, and stuck around to small talk for a bit after my appointment. I'm kinda baffled how this is the same doctor that's mentioned in the older reviews. For me, I left feeling heard, comforted, and with a better understanding of what's going on with my body and what steps we're going to take next for treatment/diagnosis.

Very cold and unfriendly to new patients. Bought out the practice of a loving and respected doctor, has the exact opposite personality. Treated me coldly, didn't seem to want to get to know me, oddly accusatory. No apparent contact with her nurse practitioner, who I had already seen and who approved my years-long meds. Confused communications with her office about prescription order. Just a terrible experience, will never go back
