I just walked out of the Liora office and I have never felt so neglected, disrespected, and almost tortured by a doctors office. I was 5 mins early to my appointment and the lovely receptionist took my information and charged me the copay. I was then brought into a room 10 mins after. The physician assistant asked me a few questions then gave me a short, thin robe to change into. Once she walked out, I changed right away into the robe and sat in the freezing cold room for about an hour maybe a little more. Throughout that time, I kept popping my head out the room to see if I could grab someone’s attention, but no one walked by or even bothered to check in on me to see if I was okay or to provide me an update. They were blasting the AC in the room and it is currently raining and 50 degrees out. I felt as if I was being tortured. I put my jacket on but unfortunately it didn’t help. About 45 minutes into my wait time, I saw the physician assistant and I asked her how much longer until I see the doctor. She informed me that it would be 2 minutes and was apologetic about the wait and the cold room. She offered me a blanket. I said if the doctor will be seeing me in 2 minutes then I don’t need it. But if she will take longer, then I’ll take the blanket. I never got the blanket and the doctor never showed up. I waited an additional 10 minutes, got dressed and walked out. I sat in the room with a thin small robe on for almost an hour and the doctor didn’t bother to check in on me. The lack of attention, bedside manner and respect this doctor showed me was disgusting. Additionally, the office makes sure to send you a few texts prior to your visit that state: “to respect the providers time, there is a 48 hour cancellation/no show fee of $150”. Where was this same respect for my time? I will not be coming back here, nor do I recommend this place.

Grade: A++ Dr. Rhee is an excellent, professional, and pleasant DO. I would highly recommend Dr. Libby Rhee for any and all of her services. I've noticed some other poor reviews on this page, it appears they are written by the same illiterate person, so here's a true review of my experiences at Liora Dermatology: I've had several appointments with the doctor that were flawless. She is kind, patient, and impressively knowledgeable in her field. The doctor was able to answer all of my questions in detail and confidence. My skin had cleared up significantly and improved within a week of following her instruction. Her staff? E-X-C-E-L-L-E-N-T. Dr. Rhee completed my procedures with surgical precision and timely fashion that demonstrates her experience is that of a seasoned veteran. I look forward to continuing to book with Liora and highly encourage other to do the same.

Dr. Rhee was rude and had zero clue on how to treat my condition. I would never go to her again.

I had the worst experience I have ever had with a doctor!!I called the office made an appointment for my 8 years old child.I send them my daughters insurance card pictures they “checked” and they told me that everything is perfect. In the morning before I went I called to the doctor’s office and asked if everything was in order and if they received our refferal they said yes everything is fine we are waiting for you. I went from Brooklyn to Manhattan with 2 kids I was waiting exactly 2 hours in office and finally I was told that they no longer accepting our insurance! The doctor did not come out and did not ask if the child was well no one even apologized. And then you tell me that he is a good doctor and a good person? I have a lot more to say and I will write about it...

Dr. Rhee is a compassionate and down-to-earth doctor. She listened to my acne concerns where most other dermatologists have dismissed me. She works with my goals and is just as motivated as I am to get results. She considers medications really well and can explain clearly any questions. Her new office is also beautiful and with a much better staff than where I saw her before!

I had a list of questions for Dr. Rhee written on my phone. The nurse wanted to know all of them so she could put them “in my chart” or whatever other formality needs to be done on the computer. This was already a bit annoying, because my questions were very specific. When the doctor came in and I told her that I have a list of questions, she literally looked at my phone, without asking for permission, and said, “Let’s see what we have because otherwise we might be stuck here until midnight.” She answered some of my questions, but not the ones that I hadn’t told the nurse. I then had to wait for her to go see ANOTHER patient who had an appointment 15 minutes AFTER mine while I told the nurse the other questions and she wrote them down. Some of her answers weren’t even satisfactory—I asked about the risk of a procedure and she responded that she’s not a statistician and can’t give me a number, but that to her the risk is 100% because she really cares about her patients. Debatable.

Dr. Rhea prescribed a new medication for me. When I went to pick the prescription up, it had not been faxed over. When I stopped in to inform the receptionist, she snapped, ?You didn?t have to come in to tell us that. The pharmacist could have called.? I told the receptionist that Dr. Rhea prescribed medications that my insurance company would not cover. Later the pharmacist called Dr. Rhea?s office and was put on hold for over 30 minute before hanging up. I will search for a new dermatologist.
