Amazing Doctor. Disgusting, filthy office.
Amazing hand expert. Reassured me that my right hand will heal in 2-3 months (and not 2-3 weeks) after fall on outstretched hand.Disgusting, filthy office. Knocked out with the flu after visiting this office. Please wear mask and gloves when visiting here. No parking anywhere. No valet to valet park. After circling 3 times and asking for valet, someone finally showed up.Appointment was for 10:00 AM. Seen at 10:25 AM.

Satisfied Patient
Had an issue with my hand after lifting something heavy, and decided to have it looked at after 2 plus weeks. Dr. Lane quite thorough in his exam. In short, nothing more serious than a strain, but he did explain it could be something else possibly in the future, but nothing to concern myself with. I highly recommend him.

Hand surgery
Dr. Lane operated on my left hand telling me my hand would be as good as new. That never happened. The surgery was not a success. I have little over my thumb and looking at my hand my thumb hangs down. At one point he said I should get another surgery, but from my very unpleasant experience, I said no. I had a very bad Steph infection and didn't recover for a long time.

Please read this honest account about my unfortunate experience with this doctor. He failed to order the proper tests to arrive at a correct diagnosis. As a result he performed 2 unnecessary surgeries on me and the complications that ensued have ruined my life. Heard, after the fact, that I am not the first that this has happened to. Gives NSLIJ a bad reputation. Should be let go before he injures more patients. Avoid at all costs.

He was very patronizing with an almost total lack of affect. Gave me cortisone injections without freezing my hand to numb it. Caused me great pain. He barely blinked.

Dr. Lane reconstructed my hand in 1995 with a 14 hour surgery to remove a malignant cyst from my left wrist. He saved my life. The cancer was aggressive. It was a terrifying experience for me. Well, over 20 years later, I need a tune up. The first one. I broke a screw and 1/2 of it is being removed April 13 2016. I will never forget his kindness, patience and eagerness to make things right. His staff as well. Thank you Dr. Lane, the doctors here in NC are amazed at what you did! Theresa Wolf
