Best of the best! Skilled surgical urologist and a wonderful person as well. Always explains things in layman's terms, answers questions, and will give it to you straight yet with tact and kindness. Not to mention he's very down to earth, I always say if you met him on the street, you'd never know he was a surgeon he's that humble! I cannot recommend him enough!

Dr. Harpster is the very best physician I have every dealt with. He makes sure you understand everything, answers all your questions and demonstrates a true interest in you as an individual and not a number. He recognized my need for immediate surgery for a prostate tumor and work with his staff to create an earlier than available opening. Then when an even earlier opening occurred, he personally called me and asked if i was ready to go in 2 days. He may have saved my life or at least provided me more time. This man is an amazing doctor. I only wish I had the literary skills to express on this page how much I appreciate him and his attentive care.

I’m still in my hospital bed recovering from surgery, but Dr. Harpster has been excellent to deal with, calling with results on his day off, keeping me informed and managing to remove my tumor without losing the kidney. Definitely would recommend him to friends and family.
