Dr. Carlson has been my family primary care doctor for more than 20 years. Her passion for her word and the personal concern for her patients, is why she spends the time necessary to answer your questions and concerns and to make sure you get treated as well as any of her patients. When my wife, who has many specialists, needed emergency eye surgery, Dr. Carlson helped gather the assistance of all of the relevant doctors to give the surgeon the information he needed before surgery. We remember when she had little kids and worked only part time; that made scheduling difficult; but now she's there full time and able to take new patients. Also note that according to a distinguished NIH doctor, Dr. Carlson's name and professional ability is well respected by him and many of his colleagues.

I have been seeing Dr. Carlson for about 25 years. She has is one of those rare doctors today that still has an excellent bedside manner. She listens my symptoms and complaint without interruption. She is always professionally and thorough. She personally called me at home to check up on a procedure. I am now retired and live in Florida however I still come to DC for my physicals and medical work with Letitia Carlson.
