I used to work with this awesome human being she is the best! She spends that extra moment of time with her patients to listen and come up with a care plan and never left her patients wanting ti know the next step!

Doesn't Listen!
Dr. Stanwix was fantastic a few years ago but now for some reason she has seemingly lost her care for her patients. She didn't read my chart even once, would not let me get a word in edge-wise and didn't listen to anything I said when I was able to finally speak. Having to explain you have a particular health condition multiple times, and then to still have your provider say they're going to test you for it because they didn't listen is dangerous. She also tried to prescribe me a medication I said multiple times that I was allergic to. LISTEN TO YOUR PATIENTS!

Dr. Stanwix was my Primary Care Physician for 20 years. She is the absolute best. I wish I lived closer to Cortez she would still be my Primary Care Physician. She listens, asks questions to figure out what is really going on, and provides a clear treatment plan for you and your family. Doesn’t interrupt and you can tell she truly cares about your health and well being. She is one of 2 physicians my 16 year old has had as a physician. I would trust her with doctor Stanwix care and suggestions regarding her health and well being. It doesn’t get any better than her. I wish she would come back to the city.

Dr. Stanwix was my Doctor for many years in Aurora, Colorado. She delivered my daughter and treated the whole family. She is the best doctor i have ever had . Truly cares about her patients. I trust her completely with my health and my children.

Dr. Stanwix was my doctor for many years in Aurora, CO. She wad the best doctor I've ever had. Not only caring for my physical needs but considerate of my emotional and family needs over the years. She caught my cancer early and before it was even on the radar. Met me at the hospital and walked me through the biopsy to finish. Healed! Cried when she left Aurora.

I had an incredibly horrible experience with Dr.Stanwix and her staff in Cortez Co. appx. 1.5 yrs ago when she misdiagnosed my teenage daughter with depression after seeing her for 15 minutes and not doing any other testing aside from drawing blood and then her and her staff dodging my phone calls when I requested the test results for nearly a week. I was even hung up on intentionally by her nurse. My daughter is still being evaluated for possible MS to this day. Way to drop the ball Dr. Stan.
