Dr. Leslie King, MD

I was a patient of Dr. King throughout my pregnancy. I was considered high risk due to my age and fibroids. In addition I also developed preeclampsia. I was so blessed to have Dr King as my doctor. She was patient, listened to and addressed all of my concerns and was very responsive. My baby and I are alive and healthy today because of her expertise and care.

It has nothing to do with the visit. When I need to contact her, she’s unavailable. I need her to refill my birth control prescription, and for weeks, she doesn’t return calls, or emails, or messages. DO NOT see this woman, you’ll have a nightmare trying to get anything done

After waiting over an hour to see Dr. King she entered the room with no regard for the patient. Never gave an apology for having the patient wait naked in the examine room for over 45 minutes. When blood pressure was taken, and it was high, maybe she should of considered why! Very disappointed in how she treated me and my time.

Dr. King is an outstanding gyn. I've had several prior to seeing Dr. King and I'm so happy I had the pleasure of working with her. I had on-going issues for a while and other doctors would just write me a script and send me off. Dr. King spent all the time necessary with me during our appointments and had all tests necessary to diagnose my problems. She removed a giant cyst that wrapped around my tubes, while many other doctors would have cut my tubes, Dr King took the time to save them so I could have my own children (25 at the time). She is so kind and genuinely cares about her patients. While yes, the wait times can be lengthly at her office, its worth the high quality care she provides. I recommend Dr.King to everyone.

Every year when we celebrate my son's birthday, I thank God for Dr. King and her excellence in care. My pregnancy was full of surprises right up to the end. Her decision to do an emergency c-section saved us both. She's a phenomenal doctor who puts the health of her patients first

Hello, I was a patient that was very apprehensive about the news of surgery. However, Dr. King's excellent bedside manner and concern for my health helped me to understand the severity of not having it. Dr King was patience, understanding and answered every question me and my family had. Most doctors don't have the time nor the empathy to do this. Her bedside manner made me feel at ease to trust what she was advising. I had the surgery and my recover time was cut in half because Dr King was able to remove the damaged organs via a small incision instead of performing a C-section. Dr King was amazing. Dr King didn't treat me like a patient she treated me as if I was her. I'm so happy that she was my surgeon and would highly recommend Dr King to everybody.

Actually I like Dr King, but the practice is so poorly run, it is unacceptable. From the 1 hour plus wait to their billing practices (referring a bill they KNOW I am disputing with my insurance co to a collection agency after just 3 months!) they are the worst medical practice I have ever been to. I will not be returning EVER.

I think shes a decent dr, but the office staff was a deal breaker for me.....they were tolerable when they were in RVC, but certainly not worth the effort to go there now that they are in Valley Stream. Dr is a little to "preachy" for me....its MY body I decide what Im doing....phoney concern. Impersonal and factory like atmosphere. Looking for a new dr.

Sorry, Dr. King. I was just in the office for a check up and had a horrible experience. I never even got to see the doctor. I've enjoyed her in the past, back when she was in Rockville Centre, but now that the office is in Valley Stream, it is not worth anyones time. I waited two hours to then just walk out. Will not be rescheduling. Unfortunate.

Dr. King seems like a sweet person but her office is so disorganized and impersonal that I have decided to switch doctors. In the 3 times that I've been there, they have asked me to fill out the same set of paperwork EVERY time. Sono's and blood work are typical for each visit during early pregnancy but a full vaginal exam should not be. I asked why a 2nd Pap smear was necessary, she shuffled through her paperwork and responded 'oh, we did do this already.' Really?! My instincts told me to run

2nd time I left before I was seen after waiting 45 mins in waiting room. I like dr king but am looking for another gynocologist

She killed my baby girl on 10/16/14..never apologize.. No explanation.. She does not care about her patients.. She tried to cover up her medical malpractice.
