Worst doctor
She doesn’t check you she rushes and just prescribes all this medication when she doesn’t run any tests or nothing

Best Provider in Merced
Dr. Lesley Xiong is a family medicine physician who always has the best care and interest for her patients. My family and I have been patients of hers for many years now. She always greets us with sincerity and makes sure we understand the care we receive from her and her team. We can’t thank her enough for being the best provider.

Excellent Care
Dr. Xiong was recommended to me by a friend who was under her care. She has been my provider since 2020. She has been nothing, but amazing in caring for my husband and me. She is very genuine, attentive, and takes the time to hear my concerns. I would highly recommend her.

Lack of compassion would not even speak to me
my elder mom praised this doctor so many times and recently I have to care for my mother but I live in SJ and all I was asking since she had my moms records and was her primary care doctor to sign the form for my electricity company asking for a lower peak usage to help be able to run the air conditioning and heater during winter and she refused and wanted me to drive her all the way to Merced for a visit and then she would sign the form. I feel that is a lack of compassion for my elder mom who is 79 years old. I of course plan to get her a local doctor.

Spends less than 10 minutes in the room!
We have been going to Dr. Xiong for about 2 years now. You will definitely spend more time in the waiting room then you will actually seeing her. If you bring up questions or concerns she in our experience will brush you off or refer you out without even looking into the problem. Almost every visit with her has been between 5 to 15 minutes. My grandmother has been seeing her and she has not once given her a physical examination. When I asked if there are any Geriatric Doctors she could recommend she said no we don't have any in Merced and appeared angry that I even asked. I would not recommend her to anyone I know!

Poor attention+low availability+bad staff
Basically, she will try to examine you in five minutes. Minimum interaction. It looks like she doesn't truly care. Her personnel sometimes is rude. She is recently shortening her schedule, so having open blocks for a consult is getting impossible.

Superior Communication
This doctor went above and beyond for my life long best friend Gail. Gail was referred by one of our congregation members and I am so grateful. She has great bedside manner she listens and above all she is good follow up communication. Your never left wondering about the results of tests and when she says she called something in its just as she said. Thank you for being a good doctor in my community

Dr. Xiong ignored my symptoms of an ectopic pregnancy, despite my raising that concern and being high risk for them. Because of that, I had to have emergency life saving surgery, when I could have been treated with medication the week prior. She doesn't actually listen to her patients. Do NOT go to her.

I’m one of Dr. Lesley Xiong’s patients. I like that her office sometimes has walk-in that same day. If not, her office usually will schedule me to see her at the earliest possible day.

Dr. Xiong had been my PCP for about a year and it's been nothing but lukewarm to bad service. Her office is a mess, they bill insurance sporadically, take copays when they're not owed and take forever to provide refunds or transfer records. Not only that, they schedule appointments and expect you there early yet the Dr. takes nearly an hour to come see you in the room and only bothers to talk to you for 5 minutes before rushing out. Dr. Xiongs bedside manner is not good and she is very dismissive of any concerns you have and throws antidepressants around like candy. Avoid at all costs!

My son was having issues explaining his pain, she rudely told him that he was old enough to explain what he was feeling. When she asked what his pain was on a scale from one to 10 his response was 6. She disregarded that completely and told him if it was really a six he wouldn't be able to walk and he walked in just fine. She was not very friendly.

Dr. Xiong recommended that my 3-yr-old son get a cat scan, since he was having eye issues that she believed could only truly originate from a brain tumor/cancer/lesion. After getting a second opinion, my son will most likely only need glasses to fix the problem he was experiencing. She went as far as to question my intentions of helping my own child IF he were to have a tumor or cancer. She was judgemental and highly unprofessional. She literally didn't examine my son during the appointment!!!
