Dr. Linet saved me from myself
Dr. Linet saved me from an addiction that I could not control. I had a history of dependence on pain killers after a back problem. I went on to heroin and cocaine and couldn’t stop. With Dr. Linet’s help, I no longer have opioid cravings and have been abstinent since Mar of 2020.

I love Dr. Linet. For some reason, however, a 'friend' I referred hates him and vilifies him repeatedly in our office and online. The complaints are entirely unjustified. As his patient myself, I know that Dr. Linet always asks permission about whether his students can observe. He does not do brief med checkups of 10-15 minutes as many psychiatrists do. When he is doing talk therapy his visits are longer. But when he is mainly doing medication management, visits are 30 minutes. I always feel he is interested in me as a person, not just focusing on symptoms or side effects of medication. He is a gifted, patient and understanding doctor.

I honestly don’t know how Dr. Linet does not have 5 stars. He is such a wonderful doctor with a gentle sense of humor that he uses to make you feel comfortable. He is so understanding, compassionate and persistent in his pursuit of patients being able to being able succeed in living a better life. He is empathetic and it’s so refreshing to have a doctor that doesn’t want you just to “get by.” He really wants his patients to thrive during the hardest time of their lives. I’m so grateful for how he has been helping me. His dedication to making me feel like a functional person again is unmatched and am so lucky to be a patient of his.
