When I say this was one of the worst doctor appointments I have had in years, I am not lying. The office was disorganized and it took over an hour to get back into a room. I arrived early for my appointment, so this was an hour past my appointment time. Then I had to wait another 30minutes to be seen. I should have just walked out of the office like my gut told me to do. Then comes the most unprofessional care I have ever received. Dr Santos walks in and asks me a couple of questions about my symptoms, which is cleary a blaring alarm that something is going on. Instead of trying to find a solutions I was told to 'eat healthier' and 'try exercising'. My jaw actually almost hit the floor. There was NO WAY this doctor just looked at my weight and ignored all proper patient care. I have no high blood pressure, no alarming lab work, nothing. I have PCOS so its hard for me to lose weight. Dr. Santos took one look at me and decided my weight was the cause of my symptoms. Do not see this Dr.

I had my second colonoscopy with Dr. Santos yesterday, and nearly was scared away by these reviews, but after a great experience with Dr. Santos several years ago -- when she was affiliated with a different practice, I decided to ignore the reviews and go with my past experience, so I traveled 40 minutes away to continue under her care. I arrived at 6:20 AM for a 6:40 AM procedure and was checked in within 20-30 minutes and was completely done and on my way home by 9AM. Ms. Santos is very professional, knowledgeable, and explains medical matters well. Additionally, the rest of the staff was courteous. For anyone that needs a routine or diagnostic colonoscopy or is having digestive issues, I highly recommend Dr. Santos.

Dr. Santos has been my gastro specialist for 6+ yrs. she saved my life n I respect her opinion. She is compassionate, has excellent listening skills, provides information n takes her time to ensure as comfort level, highly recommend!

I've been to several GIs and Dr. Santos is by far the most thorough and knowledgeable. When I came in with symptoms, she took my concerns seriously and didn't give up. When everyone else just looked the other way because they couldn't figure me out, she kept pushing through. She diagnosed my hepatomegaly and has discovered and is treating me for multiple other GI disorders/conditions I have, some of which can be life threatening. She's a great doctor and I feel blessed to have found her.

Disappointed with the lack of being upfront about billing. I called and asked how much in total I would be spending and the figure was not correct. I ended up spending over &600.00 extra. Always make you go for a colonoscopy. Why so they can rip you off too!
