Was able to see him during covid . His staff was amazing accommodating my crazy work schedule (mbta) . We did 3 steroid injections that did not last to he put me in touch with an amazing surgeon . he also notified me that two medications (completely irrelevant ) to each other would cause me to be sleepy n groggy . He went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and I’m lucky for meeting him I would recommend him to anyone who has back issues he will steer you in the best direction as for personality he’s an alpha and he’s blunt . We need more people like him in the world

D Shinchuk is aloof, arrogant and uncommunicative. Quick in and out visit. Much overrated.

Having received a diagnosis of severe spinal stenosis in my L4-L5 region, Dr. Shinchuk advised trying a steroid injection, to see if we could avoid surgery. The result was nearly miraculous, but unfortunately didn't last very long. After a second, seemingly much more effect injection a few weeks later, we have concluded that surgical intervention is going to be required I found Dr. Shinchuk thoughtful, empathic, clear in his communications, and profession in every regard.

I've seen Dr. Shinchuk during the worst pain of my life. At first I was a little turned off by a rather stern manner, and...at the same time had an appreciation for his serious concern for my pain and the cause. I had several spinal steroid injections from him. A year later, with new and worsening symptoms, where many would just treat the pain, he's offered the information I need to make unfortunately painful decisions. Impressed with his accessibility, honesty, and care.

I was treated quickly and efficiently by Dr. Shinchuk. I am a master's prepared registered nurse who knows good care. I had a severe, acute, herniated disc and could not stand for more than five seconds. I was miserable. He performed two epidural steroid injections and I had 100% pain relief. Two years now, and I am still pain free. He is a man of few words, so don't expect touchy-feely care. However, if you want a pain free back, then go to Dr. Shinchuk.

I've been going to Dr Shinchuk for about 3years he found my back issues very fast and tried some steroid shots which help for a short time he then recommended surgery wich ive been shying away from. But when I applied for ssdi his report was so overwhelming I was approved in 3 weeks because of his diagnosi. He knows his stuff. Thank you doc Shinchuk. Kenny Luongo

Dr.Shinkchuk has provided me with inadequate care of consisting irrelevant examination and improper prescription of medication. I have gotten the round around his office visits and without any success. I was given plain assumption based on what I told him, which I already knew myself. Avoid this doctor and his supervisor if you want to get real professional care.
