I would never recommend him to anyone. Never interacts with the patient , no explanations given or possibilities besides being old of why theses things are happening. Ready to ship you off ASAP he is more concerned about insurance than the patient. No communication With the family members. How he can be a good dr is beyond me!

I found Dr. Thome to be a very thoughtful and considerate doctor. He seems to work very hard and see a lot of patients but he always manages to bring undivided attention to each one. I appreciate his hard work and that he makes us feel comfortable, optimistic and hopeful.

Brought my 78 year old mother to an appointment that was for 9:20a and as of 10:45a still had not seen doctor. No remorse for making a sickly woman with copd wait over an hour and 20 minutes for an appointment. Ridiculous and inconsiderate.

Whatever you do....do not use this doctor! He is lazy, and he is not worried about your general well being. I met Dr. Thome when my husband was admitted to the Medical Center of SETX. My husband was near death with heart failure. Dr. Thome basically sent him home to die. After being sent home, my husband spent 10 days in Methodist Debakey Center in Houston. About 15 prescriptions later and emergency surgery, my husband is still alive. Dr. Thome is one of the worst doctors I've ever met.

Dr. Thome makes me feel like he is caring for another member of his family. What a wonderful doctor. We need more docs like him. He doesn't brush me off and order more tests like other doctors in the area do.
