You're deluisonal
I am switching Drs, the reason? I had a bad reaction (numerous times almost passing out)to a very low dose drug with a possible low blood pressure side effect. The next year he prescribes medicine to lower my blood pressure because 1x it read slight higher than my baseline but under the high blood pressure guidelines. He really likes SSRIs BTW. So I said I want to get off all meds that control my heart and mind. His response? 'You're delusional'.

I am very disappointed in Hoffman. I have been with him for over 25 years. He started out awesome but over the past 10 years or so his practice has changed and does not seem as interested in caring for patients. Since covid he has continued to push the vaccine. My son was sick and had to take him in and he began with the vaccine conversation...I asked him to please treat our symptoms and respect our decision. Instead I was told we were putting himself and his staff at risk and told me to find another doctor that does not believe in vaccines! OMG! I believe in vaccines but choose to pass on this mRNA shot. I respect people's choice and ask for the same in return. He noted my son's file that the mother is argumentative about vaccine and mask. I have sent 2 messages asking him to remove from my son's file and he will not respond. Also, I asked to move over to Dr. Hemmersmeier. I received a call from Hoffmans nurse saying they can't change me because they are in the same pod.

Husband would go to see him and we both told Dr Hoffmann about his coughing. Dr would just listen to his heart and never say anything and NEVER ordered chest xray. Ended up my husband got pneumonia and different dr ordered xray. Found out he had lung cancer and had COPD that Dr Hoffmann NEVER diagnosed either!! My husband died about three months after finding had lung cancer. Dr should be ashamed to have treated patient like this!! My wish is he have to go through what he made my husband go through with his love one!!!

I have found this doctor 1. is not in very often so you never get to see him or know him so when you need anything he can help. 2. He does not care about the best thing for you only what is easiest for him at the time.

Dr. Hoffman is excellent. My husband and I both see him. He never rushes through an appointment and sincerely cares. He also helped me figure out I had an auto immune disease. Other doctors never took the time to explore that possibility and I'm so glad he did! I would highly recommend him!

Went to him for excruciating back issues from moving furniture by myself, and he suggested that I exercise and it's due to being overweight. No help whatsoever for any pain I'd encounter everyday waking up in tears. Went to him again for issues I was having with my ear, he just told me to quit using qtips leaving me without anything to cure my ear infection. More of a homeopathic doctor, who refuses to give any medicine like you're a drug addict any visit or issue you have. Not recommended.

Over the past year, Dr.Hoffman has done all but provide me with a reasonable amount of medical care. I went to him for shoulder pain I was having. He concluded it was tendinitis and that I should take time off from exercising. After a year of time off and therapy I went to a specialist and finally had the problem surgically resolved. Yesterday, he misdiagnosed a rash I had 3 days after the surgery as a latex allergy that was actually cellulitis, I ended up in the ER later that night. Awful

My family has been seeing Dr. Hoffman and his associates for 14 years. I couldn't recommend a better doctor. Having lived in a number of different states, he is a top-notch doc. The only downside is that when we started going to him it was just him and Dr. Hemmersmeier and there office was small. Their building has expanded tremendously and now he has quite a bit more patients. That is the downside of have a really good doc!
