Please do not bring your children to this man
He was my (and my sister's) dentist and orthodontist for years as a child and teen and I still have a visceral fear response when I think about him. I will never forget his anger and reactiveness to even 'well behaved' kids. I remember hearing him angrily say to a kid in the other downstairs office 'STOP CRYING-you are scaring the baby in the next room!' and when he slipped with a tool and cut your gum, he would get even more frustrated. Please find one of the many kind dentists around that actually like working with children.

I'm amazed to learn that this man is still practicing. I've thought about what he did to me every day of my life since I was a child. With the stated purpose of getting my teeth ready for braces, he pulled every one of my second molars when I was 8 years old. I was not anesthetized. His rationale for that was they were baby teeth and it shouldn't hurt, which is obviously absurd. It's not as though they were ready to come out. The permanent teeth didn't come in for over two years later. The pain of having four teeth extracted without adequate anesthesia was unbearable. It is the worst thing that has ever happened to me. I'll never get over it. Not a day goes by that I'm not haunted by this traumatic battery. In another incident, he bruised my face horribly. In yet another incident, he scarred my face permanently. Parents of Wayland, make the drive to Natick or Framingham. Don't let anything like what happened to me happen to your child.

I was a patient here for 8 years with this man as a child back in the 1970's. NEVER would I let this man Dr Carapezza in the same room with my kids. He was a very mean, abusive person to me behind my parents back. He would yell at me, jerk my head and hurt my neck, then he would say "stop crying, your mother is coming in!". This guy really hurt me at times. This man is a narcissist. Do not go to this person. I swear on my life that this is true and it did happen to me when I lived in Wayland.

Been going here since I was a kid! He’s amazing. Saved my sister’s teeth when her adult teeth had fallen out after a fall

Very happy with Dr Carapezza! Both of my daughters have beautiful smiles thanks to his orthodontics. I have never had a problem with the office or staff - on the contrary - they have always gone out of their way to be helpful.

I would never bring my children to Dr. Carapezza. I went to him when I was younger and he was awful.
