Absolute nightmare of a provider
As someone who has worked for this doctor, I'm beside myself that he is actually a physician. makes me beyond ill.

I would not recommend this doctor!
This doctor is abrupt, Curt, and uncaring. All he wants is to get you in and out. He doesn’t want to listen to how you feel. He just tells you that his mission is to make sure his patients have quantity and quality of life. However, he doesn’t want to listen to what you feel is quality of life. I would not recommend Dr. mccook to anyone who wants a doctor that cares. Unfortunately, he is too full of himself to care about you.

Worst Doc. Ever
Took my uncle to visit this doctor and I had to go in with him because there was not a interpreter even though we were told “we would get one”. This was his first visit with this doctor because his primary care doctor left the clinic. The minute he entered the room something was off with Dr. McCook. He greeted us so unprofessionally and asked us what brought us here. When I started addressing my dads concerns which was a simple medication re-fill and a request for some lab work, he immediately started going off that we’re asking too much for the first visit. I don’t understand? Were we supposed to come in say “Hi” and then just leave? He seemed like he was overwhelmed and stressed out already in 5 minutes. Maybe he should of chose a different career path for himself because being a doctor apparently isn’t one.

One of the worst doctor experiences ever.
I have had a pain in my head for 6 weeks so I set up an appointment with Peacehealth Fishers Landing. The only doctor available was Dr McCook. He was an hour late to coming in and then only took notes to send to my "regular" doctor. He told me to stop talking so fast because he could not type that fast. He did NOTHING to help me except to request a CTSCAN. But when I refused to go to the OVERPRICED Peacehealth location he put on my chart (I found one to do it for 1/3 the cost), he refused to change the request to my location until I had requested the change MULTIPLE times (and then it took weeks). He obviously does not know what he is doing and has ZERO bedside manner. I do NOT recommend him or this Peacehealth location for that matter. Find a doctor that actually cares.

Worst doctor ever. All these reviews are accurate. He tells you 'I don't know' and 'theres nothing I can do for you.' Blames you for being late when he himself runs late. Also no empathy. Too young and no experience. Also does not chart accurately in patient medical record, I have seen mistakes in my own record. Does not care for his patients. Don't waste your time on him.

Extremely unprofessional. I have doctors in my family...have never been to a worse doctor. Was an hour late and proceeded to blame it on us for having an afternoon appt which was the only one available to us and told us to do earlier appts as it he is not as busy earlier in the day like it was our fault. No bedside manner, extremely rude. Told us he couldn’t really help us with our problem because he didn’t have the tools to do so. So why see you????

He tells you right of the bet that he can only deal with one problem. No eye contact and does not listen to patients complaint and visibly inattentive. No compassion whatsoever. I’m in the medical field and totally disgusted at his work ethic. I will not be seeing him again.

By far the worst doctor I’ve ever seen. I tried to tell him I thought it was a waste of time to come in 15 minutes early for my appointment (as requested) because I ended up waiting almost an hour anyway. Instead of listening to me he cut me off and said “I will not apologize for taking care of my patients”. That’s not what I was asking for but the message was clear. His time is valuable mine is not. Also tried to express frustration with difficulty getting RX filled. He again became very defensive and dismissive. Absolutely no empathy or compassion. I was out of medication and clearly in crisis but he just reminded me normal time is 72 hours even though the request had originally been made well over 72 hours ago. Full Review

He made statements of fact that were easily proven incorrect, was quick to prescribe medications regardless of medical proof of need, and seems uninformed about many basic things including what an Azo UTI test kit is. In my opinion he's a malpractice suit waiting to happen.

I could not agree more with the last post. Extremely poor bedside manners, very robotic and can not think outside of a text book. Your better off going to a type of Zoom Care type of Doctor. I do not trust him with anything. I am also in the medical field and have never seen such poor performance

Extremely dismissive. Started the appointment out by saying We probably won't get to all of your problems - I only had two issues I came in for. He spent over half the appointment asking me generic questions to fill in on the computer. He hardly made eye contact. He was almost robotic, and kind of condescending. When I'd start further discussing my issue, he'd tell me to stop and to take it one thing at a time. It was a huge waste of my time. Absolutely nothing was attempted at a diagnosis.
