Replaced my cardiac surgeon on little notice.
Dr Gazoni is an outstanding heart surgeon. SIx years ago I learned I needed a triple by-pass. Initially I saw a colleague of Dr. G who a couple days before surgery unexpectely needed to go out of town. This doctor chose Dr. G to do my surgery. As I had never met him I asked if I could talk with him. Was told he was out of town and would arrive back only the night before surgery, I asked if I could speak w him the morn of the operation and my doc said he would very likely agree to this. Dr. G gracioulsy came to see me that morning; surgery was only a couple hours away but I had NOT signed the papers. When I met the good doctor I immediately felt his dedication, self confidence and calm presence and manner. He put me at ease and and I signed the approval papers on the spot. Less than an hour later I was wheeled into surgery. It was a rather complicated surgery as I also had a carotid artery repaired too. Mytwo great docs got all this done in ca 5 hrs vice expected!

Because of CAD, I was faced with the prospects of stents or triple bypass. I choose triple bypass, to be performed by Leo Gazoni, MD. The operation went well and Dr. Gazoni followed my progress while in the hospital, visiting me often, showing concern for my well being and offering encouragement. In addition, he sent his PAs/Techs to visit with me on several occasions to discuss my situation and help with healing. My in-home rehab is going well and my final meeting with Dr. Gazoni's Nurse Practitioner Wiggins was informative, where I was cleared to move forward with getting well. I would definitely recommend Dr. Gazoni for anyone considering open-heart surgery.

I unexpectedly had to enter the Hospital due to some shortness of breath. In a short time it was found I needed bypass Surgery. I was quickly introduced to Dr Gazoni. I immediately knew I was in good hands. He explained what needed to be done in terms that could be understood. He made sure to talk with me and my wife just prior to the Surgery as well. The surgery went well and for the 5 days after Surgery he took the time each day to check on me and answer any question. His team was also outstanding. I am very thankful that my procedure was in the hands of Dr Gazoni and his associates. Highly recommend!!!

I highly recommend Dr. Gazoni and his staff. He was recommended to me by several medical professionals. He put me at ease before my surgery by explaining what procedures would be performed, kept my family informed during surgery and followed up with me after my surgery. I feel real lucky to have had Dr. Gazoni perform my heart surgery.

Dr. Gazoni performed open heart surgery to remove a cardiac myxoma. Having had no prior heart problems the need for this surgery was quite unexpected. Dr. Gazoni did a great job explaining the procedure and why it was needed. The operation was completely successful and my recovery has been uneventful with no complications. Dr. Gazoni and his team were extemely competent and kind during my time in the hospital.

Dr. Gazoni successfully operated on me on June 5th. From day one, he has been down to earth in explaining all that would go down during this procedure. His demeanor caused me & my wife to like and trust him right from the beginning. There's no way someone would feel uncomfortable around him. He's a super Doctor and person ! I would strongly recommend him and his staff to anyone who needs a surgeon! R.M. Robinson

I absolutely love this doctor ! He has a great bedside manner along with a fantastic personality. He explains everything in a way that you can understand. I feel that he really cares about his patients and I would recommend him to anyone that might need this type of surgery. Oh, this picture does not do him justice as he is very easy on the eyes and this is coming from a 74 year old woman.
