What a miserable experience.
Dr. Williams was not personable. Couldn't answer questions I prefaced to her, even causally laughed it off. When I discussed my concerns I felt as if she was ignoring them and was very dismissive with the things I brought up. Even gave me a hard time when I asked for routine screenings and testing. It's time to find a new obgyn for sure!

Knowledgeable
I had the pleasure of having Dr. Williams as my Gyn. She is a very smart woman that keeps current with her profession. She always took the time to listen ,address and tend to my needs appropriately. She is very personable in fact during her examinations we made light conversations about our favorite color purple. I was sad when she relocated to Storrs but the location was too far and her practice changed it is geared more towards younger college aged women. It was a good move for her. She has a strong desire to help younger women and to educate them about their health and risk involved if it’s neglected. Dr. Williams “Thank You” You are Remarkable

Great Doctor!
I have been seeing Dr. Williams for close to 30 years. I followed her from Ellington to Uconn (now I have a 45 minute drive) because she delivered my child and helped me threw my miscarriage and now is helping with perimenopause. She is very trustworthy and takes the time to answer all my questions. She always asks about my daughter(who she delivered) who is now in her 20's.

She was very dismissive and rushed. I left frustrated and with none of my questions answered. Especially after reading about other similar experiences in the reviews, I would not recommend this Physician.

Dr. Williams has been my ob/gyn for over 20 years. She delivered all three of my children and helped me through 2 miscarriages. I stayed with her when she moved from Ellington to UCONN even though it is a much longer drive. She is wonderful.

I went in to have some tests done last July. I had my blood drawn and, since some serious issues were on the table for me, I waited keenly for the results. Three weeks later there was still no answer. I called. The person I talked to said that my doctor had left on vacation and they didn't know when she would be back. I called again a week later and no answer. They simply never got back to me. I moved, and I got a new doctor. The new doctor ran some tests, got back to me in less than a week, and then asked if I would sign a release so he could see my old results (I had told him UConn Health never got back to me) so he could examine how things had progressed. I signed, and it took my new doctors office over a month to get the results from this office. All I can say is that UConn Health in Storrs is not professional. They do not care about their patients -- at the very least, they did not demonstrate caring to me. What is the point of seeking medical help if the doctor can't even be bo

AVOID this Doctor! Second time seeing her for my annual. Her bed side manner is terrible. She performed a colposcopy on me and it was very painful- I had my cell phone to distract me from the pain and she made me put it away and was mean and rude about it. My most recent visit, I was kept waiting in the waiting room for 30 minutes and then waited in an exam room for 45 minutes and she came in and told me she forgot about me- just what I wanted to hear before getting my Pap smear after waiting for an hour and 15 minutes! I saw her for a second time to give her the benefit of the doubt, but that was a mistake. I’ll gladly be searching for a different obgyn next year.

She is a horrible doctor. She took over practice while I was pregnant and senior physician had to relocate. She was clueless. When I delivered, nurses had to guide her through what to do. The eye rolls when they thought no one was looking were scary. Later after switching practices for my next pregnancy, I discovered just how much she screwed up my delivery and episiotomy.

I can't believe this woman is still practicing medicine! We lost our first planned pregnancy with this so-called doctor about 15 years ago. Her bedside manor when telling my wife that the fetus no longer had a heartbeat, was cold and heartless. We know she was responsible for the death of this baby, but didn't press charges, as all it would have done is amplify our pain. I was shocked and appalled to hear this Woman's name on the radio yesterday advertising that she works at UConn or something like that. I suspect any good reviews are either manufactured by her, or created by her family who has no idea about the atrocities that she is responsible for. We should have brought her up on charges, but, my wife never wanted to speak her name again. Creating life is a big deal, and it would be in your best interest to find another doctor and move past this pathetic excuse for a human being. We were finally able to have children, but I always will mourn the loss so my first child.

I have nothing but good to say about this remarkable woman. She is always professional listens to my concerns beyond her hourly scheduled time. It very difficult in this time and age to actually say I found some one who gives a “Dam” . Dr Williams does.. just travel to Haiti and ask the young women that she’s volunteered to help., or the young women living in this country without insurance.. Dam she cares thanks Dr Willams

I’m a medical student now. And even while in college, she was just in a convenient locations. She does not use proper clinical skills that we learn, such as making eye contact and speaking to the patient. She would spend the entire time charging and barely talking to me. She gave conflicting medical advice over time. And she did NOT follow proper procedure for inserting an IUD. As a current medical student, it baffles me how a doctor would treat a patient like they’re not even there.
