In my opinion, Dr. Novotna combines the two things required to be a great doctor: (1) She is smart and very competent. I trust her opinions. (2) She demonstrates that she actually cares about her patients. I am very grateful to have found someone of her quality in rural North Georgia. Also noteworthy is Dr. Novotna's willingness to answer questions posted through the patient portal. Finally, her nurse is an excellent assistant.

Dr. Novotna was very thorough, as she always is and ordered several tests to determine cause of elevated liver enzymes and extreme fatigue.

I met with Dr. Novotna because of concerns about an upcoming procedure that I have scheduled. She did an excellent job of explaining both the procedure and the surgeon who will be doing the procedure. I have known Dr. Novotna for nearly 20 years; she is excellent!
