Dr. Leah Darak, MD

Dr Darak is a excellent doctor. She is very thorough and answered all my questions in terms that I could understand.

Dr. Darak has been my GYN for decades. She is honest, trustworthy and I was lucky to have her by my side for the birth and circumcision of my boys. She truly puts your mind at ease and knows what she is doing. Hopefully she will be in practice for a very long time!

Dr. Darak is very professional and compassionate. I felt that she listened to my concerns and provided great care during my appointment.

I have been seeing Dr.Darak for over 20 years. She always takes times to address your concerns and genuinely cares about you and your health.

Honestly I was very sad when my Gyno doctor left the practice so one of the girls referred her to me. First off I had to wait 30 mins until she showed up. I was there for my annual pap. Omg. Basically she did not give me a warning what she’s going to do to me or walk me through it. everything was just shoved in me. She didn’t explain what she was doing or what she will doing next to me. It was a very painful experience. And the appt was very rushed. Would not recommend

The pt to MD connection was a home-run. Appreciated her time and her competence.

I got to meet this amazing surgeon/Dr before my 5th planned csection . The day of my C-section she made me feel super calm and was super amazing . No complications during or after surgery . She did my csection. So good I was up and walking around after 7 hours . She truly is a gem. Me and hubby loves her personality ,her vibes and her passion for doing what she do. Even her nurses see her for care which speaks volumes . Thanks Dr. D xoxo . I didn’t need a blood transfusion. My staples were removed on time . My 6 weeks was a breeze . Thanks luv

As a new patient I came well prepared. Dr Darak was on time and kept on target and referred me to the appropriate other medical professionals I will need as a new patient. Reviewed my history and asked all the right questions. Felt very comfortable and will see her as needed.

Dr. Darak will make sure you feel comfortable and confident with your concerns.

Dr.Darak explained everything about my medications to me which no Dr. Has ever done. It was so helpful and informative. She is very friendly and nice and very professional . She made me feel comfortable

Dr. Darak is thee consummate professional. She is caring and her professional skills are beyond reproach.

I have been a patient of Women’s Health CT since 2010. They were great during both pregnancies and I’ve always felt comfortable with the doctors at the practice, especially Dr. Darak.

Similar experiences as the others who’ve negatively reviewed her here. Dr. Darak is rude and arrogant, and her visits and procedures are unprofessional and rushed. When I questioned her about a test and the odd situation which occurred during the visit, (her assistant actually saying, ‘oops I just dropped some on the floor’,) she became almost belligerent, and the rudeness from her simply never ended from there on. While in the process of looking at other doctors in order to leave her practice she sent me a letter telling me she would no longer treat me. The timing of her letter was almost comical. She picked the wrong profession and IMHO skipped Bedside Manner 101 class.

Regular visit. First time at the new office.

Very professional and friendly staff. Dr Darak is just wonderful.

She was attentive and direct.
