Dr. Lawrence Wyner, MD

I was shocked at how low his ratings are based on my 3 years experience with him. Then I read the reviews all the bad reviews are duplicated. That's bizarre. Anyway, he has always been pleasant and knowledgeable. I have been fighting a UTI for 6 weeks, three rounds of antibiotics. Finally they sent me to him and the results are terrific. I agree you wait to see him, but he is overworked, so be grateful to get care. As for his staff, they have always been efficient and enjoyable.I have to problem recommending him to friends.

Dr. Wyner has been my doctor for over a year. When I was in the hospital and had to have a supra pubic catheter he checked on me 3 times during that day(it wasn’t scheduled until late that day) to reassure me and if I had questions. I’ve had various problems over the past year and every time I called he had me come in the next day. He has the best bedside manner of any doctor I’ve had, even checking on me while I was still in the hospital and watching the news with me! I highly recommend him.

Refused treatment for a child in agony because be was too busy to assume care for her while she was in the hospital while he was on call. Got transferred to Columbus because he didn't want to deal with her medical complexities. Shame on you! Your job is to treat the sick, not just the ones you want to treat!

This physician refused to sign a POST form at a family’s request after he obtained consent for surgery of a critically ill patient. Could not take five minutes to complete a state wide form for advanced directives for a very ill woman. Avoid this arrogant man.

I do not recommend this doctor nor this office. I had a very bad experience. Terrible staff, terrible communication and planning. AVOID

Waited an hour and a half in the room just to be seen. When I tried to explain my symptoms to him he redirected the conversation multiple times to irrelevant problems. Tried explaining myself multiple times but he would not listen. Didn't discuss the results of my urinalysis with me besides saying "there was blood in my urine," but was not interested in any follow up on that. He spent a total of less than five minutes in the room and nothing was accomplished. I will never go back to this office.

Dr. Wyner's office has a serious management problem. On my first visit, I waited 2+ hrs. before seeing the dr. On my second visit, I again waited 2+ hrs before seeing the dr. He then could not find the urinalysis results. The sample had been taking 1 hour before but the test had not been run. I was in the office for over 3 hours at both visits. This is completely unacceptable.

Waited in the exam room for 45 minutes all while listening to him make travel plans in the other room. Had I know that who I was listening to was the dr I was waiting to see I'd have left. After he comes in exam room he spends all of five minutes with me and out the door he goes.

He really did not listen. I went to the hospital a few times cause I had an infection after the appointment and they took urine sample to check and didn't tell me I had one.
