I have been a patient of Dr. Schweitzer for over 25 years. In the last three years he has done a total knee replacement on both knees. He has always been patient with my questions and supportive throughout the entire process. I highly recommend him for any orthopedic issue

I recently went to Dr. Schweitzer for an Independent Medical Exam. I was never spoken to so shortly or had my questions answered so condescending in my adult life. I am not a doctor nor do I read minds so if my answers were not what he was looking for his responses could have been more kind.

Dr. Lawrence Schweitzer is professional, personable and very knowledgeable concerning Knee and Hip Replacement. As far as I am concerned he is the best! I have been following up with Dr. Schweitzer for several years after successfully completing a right knee full replacement. I hit a home run because of his expertise, no problems at all and full knee extension. The attractive Ex-Ray technician lady was also professional and very accurate with the knee setup, the results were clear and precise.

I would recommend Dr. Schweitzer to family, friends or anyone in need of expert orthopedic care. I had surgery, a partial knee replacement, during the summer of 2018 and after a short recovery period I have no complications and am pain free with complete mobility. Great job!

Dr. Schweitzer performed a total knee replacement three years ago. Everything went well. I was back driving in five weeks and back playing tennis in eight weeks. Today, I have full range motion of my right knee, which bends at the same angle as my left knee. I do not even notice or feel the replacement. I heartily recommend Dr. Schweitzer.

The Best! Dr. Schweitzer takes a lot of time with you & listens to all your questions you might have. I first met Dr. Schweitzer due to knee problems. Was not satisfied with another Dr., so I went to Dr. Schweitzer for a second opinion. So glad I did. He showed compassion & thoroughly educated me on what was going on with my knee. Grateful to him for telling me I didn't need knee replacement at this moment, like the other Dr. told me. It pays to get a second opinion. Thank You Dr. Schweitzer

In the past 4 years Dr. Schweitzer has done 3 separate procedures. The most recent was a total knee replacement. He has always been attentive and answered my questions to ease me with whatever concerns I might have had. I would highly recommend Dr. Schweitzer.

I saw this doctor for a full year because of a pain in my hip. Each time I saw him he diagnosed me with something different even though it was the same pain. I finally insisted upon an MRI, he reluctantly ordered it, found out I have a torn upper hamstring. He said that’s too bad because now there is nothing he can do for me. Instead of recommending me to a surgeon, he sent me for pain management. That doctor said there was no way this would heal without surgery. I found a new orthopedist.

On July16, 2018 I had my second knee replacement surgery with Dr. Schweitzer. The first replacement surgery was done in October of 2017. That procedure went extremely well. That was why I had no hesitation to have my second knee repaired. My replacement surgery on July 16. 2018 was such a success. As expected, I was up and walking on the day of surgery. This went extremely well with no issues. I started group therapy within a day and a half while still in the hospital. I far exceeded what was e

Dr. Schweitzer has done an excellent job with the knee replacements I have had. My last one, a revision (swapping out the implant for a new, larger implant due to a torn knee ligament that screwed up a portion of my then knee implant), was expected to be a more difficult surgery and recovery and it actually has been turned out to be the easiest, with it feeling great after one year. I was in excellent hands for the surgery and my recovery. I

Dr. Schweitzer did total knee replacement surgery on both my knees in two separate operations March 22 2017 and January 17 2018. From the first visit Dr. Schweitzer listened to my concerns and explained the prceedure clearly and compassionately. His surgical team at Danbury hospital is just as competent as he is. I am very pleased with my care and the outcome.
