Waited one hour for my appointment,,asked at reception if they had forgotten me,,no response,,was in pain...could not wait any longer..very unprofessional way to treat patient in pain..very upset. Cannot agree to terms that say dr treated me because he never saw me,,I will sign just so that review can be submitted

I was on vacation when I had to attend Cape Cod Hospital ER for an ongoing hernia problem. At 12:30 on a Sunday night I was seen immediately and by 3:30 I was in the OR being treated by an execellent surgical team. Nothing but great things to say about Dr. Novak, and his Resident Josh, about the care I received at Cape Cod Hospital. Very personable, intelligent, and a trustworthy physician/surgeon that I would recommend to anyone. Josh was also very compassionate and easy to communicate with

Professional......... knowledgeable. ......... everything you could ask for .......... And his lovely PA, Sue, is an absolute knockout

I saw Dr. Novak to have some things removed from my right arm, he was very professional and had a great attitude.

I didn't choose him as my surgeon. He was on-call to the ER, had me admitted and scheduled the surgery. I later discovered he is considered one of the best surgeons on the Cape. My experience (2 operations) agrees! While a bit egotistical - probably an excellent characteristic in a surgeon, he is witty, warm and caring. I knew precisely the diagnosis, the surgical procedure he would perform and all the prognoses and recovery. (I watched some on YouTube). In a word: BEST.
