Dr. Lawrence Layman, MD

I owe Dr. Layman an enormous amount of gratitude for addressing and treating my recurring pelvic pain. When other doctors prescribed pills or sent me for repeat diagnostic tests that yielded no answers, it was really disheartening to end up in the ER with the same pains in the same spot, with no answers and ER doctors making me feel crazy. Dr. Layman took a conservative careful approach and was the first doctor to say, “yes, exploratory surgery might be a good idea”. It was. He removed extensive adhesions that were not seen on imaging tests. I feel like I got my life back now that I’m free from the horrible random pains I had. It really made me sad to come on here and see an outstanding doctor and surgeon rated so harshly because of office staff. (If you want to go ahead and cheat yourself out of seeing an excellent doctor, go ahead and follow the ratings from someone who didn’t get a call back right away?) Dr. Layman and his nursing staff were absolutely amazing. It is because of him that we have a beautiful baby girl today. After four years of trying, failed transfers and several doctors, we finally had our dreams come true. Dr. Layman was very professional, listend to us, talked through the whole process and what we should expect and was always available when we had questions or concerns during the whole process.

Dr. Layman was always professional and took time to explain things to us. His office staff, however, has a lot of room for improvement.

I have been a patient of Dr. Layman for over 12 years. He and his staff have always been professional, attentive and caring. I have had a number of concerns over the years including one after-hours emergency where the physician "on-call" was immediately available and had the E/R waiting for me when I arrived. Dr. Layman will answer any questions and make sure you completely understand your treatment options. I highly recommend this physician.

Have never felt like a doctor genuinely cared for his patient. He was EXTREMELY. Informative on my condition and ran more blood test to rule out any doctor before diagnosing me with anything. Very thorough VERY kind. Wish I could stay with him for many more years. Would reccomened him to ANYONE and everyone need fertility expertise.

Excellent doctor and office

Stay far away from this office!! They NEVER answer the phone and I cannot get my blood work results from them without having to come in and pay another $100 for them to go over the results after paying $360 for blood work. This office is a complete nightmare!!!! I tried calling this office for 3 weeks straight everyday and no one ever called me back!

After multiple failed IVF cycles at another clinic, we finally had success on out first cycle attempt with Dr. Layman. I had a complicated situation that baffled my other doctors but Dr. Layman was able to take my medical history into account and figure out exactly how to approach my IVF. I showed up to each appointment with a long list of questions, which he answered in depth to my satisfaction each time, no matter how long it took. Excellent doctor, gave us our miracle baby.

Dr. Layman is a great doctor. But his staff is the worst they never answer the phone EVER. My husband and I tried to desperately reach Dr. Layman due when I needed to be seen immediately. My husband called 23 times on a Friday all day left messages for a call back. Then we called on Monday all day and finally got through once. Now I'm in need for my results to see if I need to go to the hospital and they continue to pick up and hang up on me.
