Dr. Laurie Harris, DO

Dr. Lorrie seemed informed and helpful in explaining certain things that I didn’t understand. However, I left my appointment feeling very unseen. I felt like just a number, not a case of health. I was prescribed medication and I voiced my concerns from previous symptoms I had had on it. Dr. Lorrie confirmed I could call if I had any symptoms and get further guidance.4 months later, I was experiencing symptoms for over two months and it was concerning. I called Dr. Lorrie’s MA for 4 days straight! leaving SEVERAL messages, my lunch break times, the easiest ways to reach me but it made no difference. I did not receive a phone call back until the end of the week. MA said Dr. Lorrie was out for the weekend, but I would receive either a call or message by Monday. AND the DR needed to know the prescription dosage! That SHE prescribed!! On Tuesday (day 7),I called again because I had STILL NOT received a message yet. it’s now been 9 days.. I still have not heard from DR. Lorrie or the MA.

Dr. Harris, does not take the time to become personable with her patients. She asks a series of questions and rushes through them to where I felt like I had to say "no: when I probably should of said "yes." She also blantantly ignored a me asking for a different medication dosage since my current one was not working.

I felt very rushed and like none of my concerns were heard. Dr. Harris was more interested in getting my records from my previous doctor than actually listening to me. I am very disappointed as the reviews here were all positive and I was hopeful that I had actually found someone who would listen and not treat me like I'm clueless about my own body.

Dr Harris always explained everything so I can understand what she is talking about, she is always upbeat and very professional

Quickly got an in Person appointment. Was seen on time and treated with minimal wait. Dr. Harris promptly diagnosed my condition and had me promptly treated by a friendly and highly competent staff

Dr. Harris has always been extremely helpful. She always makes you feel comfortable and she is very easy to talk to about any concerns. I would highly recommend her to anyone seeking a new PCP.??

Dr. Harris is very personal and thorough, she not only listens but also tries to get to know you over time. I have been seeing her since she started her practice and am very pleased. As a health care professional myself I would highly recommend her.

I needed to establish care with a new PCP. Dr. Harris was very pleasant and took the time to address any concerns or questions I may have had.

My experience with Dr. Harris is she is a great doctor. She is explains everything and if you don’t understand she will re explain so you do. She is very friendly and everytime I need to be seen she is always smiling and her staff is absolutely wonderful too.

Annual wellness visit via telemedicine went very well. Dr. Harris and staff were very thorough with my online visit. This is an effective method to use, especially in a pandemic.

Dr. Harris is my primary care physician. I always find her to be very helpful, knowledgeable, and caring. Dr. Harris listens closely to any concerns I may have, and has always taken the time to address everything in a very timely manner. I also use the TPMG portal for refills and health concerns which is very helpful, and she always replies very quickly. She is friendly, easy to talk with And I enjoy working with her in regards to my current health. I would definitely recommend Dr. Harris to ANY one who needs a great PCP.

It was a follow up on lab work and review of medications, but was done as a virtual appointment. (My first actually.) I was impressed on how smoothly it was carried out. Dr. Harris was up to her usual high standards as my primary care Physician. I was very satisfied with our discussion and confident that the virtual appointment was just as productive as a regular appointment. I will definitely use this method again if offered

Helps find practical ways of making things happen, like the very convenient virtual appointment I just had because I couldn’t make it in for a check up. So much better than putting things off and ending up in a panic over meds.
