Absolutely awful.
Do not go to her if you have chronic pelvic pain or sexual trauma. She did not listen to me about chronic pain I've been dealing with for three years and it felt as if she was treating me like a druggie. On top of that, when giving me a vaginal exam, she was very rough and completely disregarded my pain. She kept opening and closing the spectrum and moving the tip of it hard against my cervix, which caused me to have bleeding afterwards. She was completely disrespectful with my ultrasound place that I chose, which was free to me, and tried multiple times to give me a transvaginal ultrasound. After I thought her and I agreed to get an exploratory surgery, she NEVER told the nurse to schedule me. Thanks, Dr. Phillips

Annual checkuo
She has no bed side manners. She didn’t even ask any of family history or my history. She just wanted to get in and out of the room. Didn’t even right my prescription correctly.

Dr. Phillips is amazing! She delivered my first born son and was very kind and thorough throughout my entire pregnancy. Whenever I had a question I was able to message her using the patient portal and she responded promptly. I never felt rushed during my appointments. She would sit and ask me questions and made sure all of my questions or concerns were answered.

Dr Phillips took amazing care of me in my pregnancy. I was admittedly pretty anxious considering this was an IVF pregnancy that it took years to achieve. Also I had a history of miscarriage and was experiencing intermittent bleeding in my first and second trimester with this pregnancy. Dr Phillips always took time to answer questions / address my concerns as well as offer preemptive guidance on my many "what if" scenarios. I never felt rushed and would highly recommend her.

I had a horrible experience with this doctor. I would no recommend her to anyone. I felt as though she had a lack of experience. I was a high risk patient and she basically told me I wasn't. I was pregnant with twins via IVF with a prior miscarriage. I took progesterone shots until 14 weeks. I was monitors after the shots stopped. My cervix should have been checked and was not given my history. I did transfer physicians at 18 weeks, but damage was done. I lost my twins at 20 weeks

I have never had a doctor like Lauren Phillips and I pray I never do again. It was my first pregnancy and through my insurance I randomly selected her. She rushed through every appointment I made with her. After she was finished talking, she never asked me if I had any questions AND never gave me a chance to ask the questions I had. She just zipped out the door and all my questions would go unanswered. She could have cared less about me and my well being and it showed through her actions.

Horrible experience. The staff was a little rude and extremely unprofessional laughing and making jokes to one another while about me I was sitting in the lobby . The dr did not address my concern at all. I felt rushed.Refused to see me for a follow up after being released from the hospital.

Dr. Phillips is amazing. She is personable, knowledgable, and cares for her patients. I saw her throughout my pregnancy, and she was never in a rush, always sat with me to answer my millions of questions, and went above and beyond. I wanted a more natural birth in a hospital setting, and she was willing to work with me to give me a birthing experience I was very happy with. I trusted and respected her immensely and wished I could bring her to San Antonio when we moved this year.
