Dr. Laurae Carpenetti, MD

Dr. Carpenetti has been my physician for 12 years. She provides excellent annual wellness exams. She explains details of various lab results, questions about vaccinations, and really listens. She encourages her patients to lead healthy life styles. She remembers details of previous office visits. She has a warm, genuine, professional demeanor that makes her trustworthy. Her credentials and experience are outstanding. Comprehensive Internal Medicine office staff are friendly and reliable. Cotton goes above and beyond to provide superior patient service. My husband, a patient of Dr. Bozof, and I highly recommend CIM.

Dr. Carpenetti is a wonderful healthcare provider. For many years I saw a male PCP in another practice who didn’t either understand or care about women’s health issues. After getting a referral from a friend, I had my first appt with Dr. Carpenetti. I like her approach. She listens and spends the time needed to address my issues. She spends as much time as needed to see to the needs of what her patients need. She very easy to talk to also.

Wish I could give a MINUS RATING.. Not sure who is giving 5 stars to this practice at Johns Creek.. either they are getting paid to do it or their OWN FAMILY Or STAFF. We just moved from NJ and were looking for a PCP, got fooled by reviews on other sites. My first experience with these guys (Dr. Carpenetti..), went for an annual physical and after lab results, she had a schmuk nurse call me with general advice of exercise despite of results not being normal .. when i said why is doctor not calling me.. she said doctor does not call or talk.. you need to take another appointment.. WHAT.. results are not normal and she would not talk or suggest if i need to be on medication??? Just leaving on exercise till next time.. If you are still around....?? WOW.. And kept insisting that "You need a follow up" , ok cough up another CO-PAY.. we dont care if results were not normal. These guys are JOKERS>... not sure what else to say... STAY AWAY FROM THEM

Dr. Carpenetti is very thorough and provides great care with her patients. The office staff and nursing staff is professional and caring. Would recommend this practice!

Very thorough appointment. Dr Dr. Carpenetti has great communication skills. She listens intently, makes accurate diagnoses, is very knowledgeable, and shows genuine concern for her patients.

Dr. Carpenetti is a non interested, lazy, inept physician at best. She does the minimum and doesn't go the extra mile for her patients. She thinks practicing medicine is a Monday through Friday 8 to 5 PM job. Left her a message on the practices portal and she never returned my message or phone call. Needless to say I am looking for a new GP and practice.

After asking a few questions, I was charged with an additional visit, that wasn't covered as part of my yearly physical, which would have been fine, except that her nor her office would ever call the pharmacy back to have a prescription filled. Then, even though I paid for both my and my wife's visit, they sent a bill collector after us. They won't even call the bill collector back, to verify that the proof I sent them of paying the bill is valid. Terrible service...
