Excellent, delightful physician
I have seen Dr Ryan for about 15 years. I’ve been impressed with her breadth of knowledge, her positive attitude, and her willingness to respect my choices regarding my care. She has managed my condition well. My only complaint is with the appointment scheduling system at OSU, not with Dr Ryan.

She was 15 minutes late to the first appointment of the day. My appointment was at 8 am and that is when she arrived into the office…my telehealth then started t 8:15 and only lasted 10 minutes. She refused to answer my questions. She told me that she was not going to “argue” as her means to not answer. She started off questioning why I thought I had Hashimoto disease…guess confrontation and arguing is only for the doctors?!!?! I asked if she could provide me with an expert in the field to read about or contact…but that was questioning her credentials. Closed minds do not save lives…

Dr. Ryan is caring and considerate of your time. As a diabetic I have tantrums at times where I just don't care and so I do what I want and eat what I want and she calls me out on it. She is well researched and honest. Sometimes blunt but I appreciate that.As for the reviews that say she isn't a good doctor I wonder who it is they are seeing because I have never had a better one. I have followed her from location to location and will continue to do so. That is how much I value her medical consul

I have unfortunately had a lot of doctors for the past 28 years for my thyroid disease. Dr Ryan is by far the best I have ever had. I never feel as though I am being rushed out of the office and I find it easy to ask questions there or with the MY Chart app. I drive over 2 hours to come here even though there are closer places to me.

Dr Ryan was thorough, thoughtful and listened carefully to my questions/reasons for seeing her. She was knowledgeable and took a lot of time to explain what she was doing and shy. I felt her diagnosis was trustworthy and helpful. I would recommend this doctor

I can't praise Dr. Ryan highly enough. As she always is (I've been going to her for a number of years), during my most recent visit, she was attentive, empathetic, thoughtful, and professional. And most important, in speaking with her, it is obvious that she is extremely knowledgeable and keeps up with the latest research.

Not good. She was completely disengaged. I have a doctor now who doesn't think some women get beards and hair loss. I am being treated now and finally have energy and normal aldosterone, cortisol, and blood sugar. OSU docs are great...just not this one.
