A 'Once-in-a-Lifetime' Doctor
Before her move, Dr. Phang was my provider in Boston. Her incredible care throughout my pregnancy left a lasting impression. Thinking of her today, I looked her up & felt compelled to share my experience.Balancing a 1st pregnancy with a demanding journalism program was daunting. Starting week 16, I experienced constant pain so intense that finding even a modicum of relief meant sitting on the floor, arching backward. Feeling ‘brushed off’ by my previous physician turned out to be a blessing, as switching practices is what brought Dr. Phang into my life! From the start, she listened attentively, empathized deeply, & took proactive steps. An ultrasound revealed baby's favored position was legs/feet pushed against my ribs… an issue with no simple solution. Nevertheless, Dr. Phang made life bearable, offering support & strategies with a caring demeanor & unhurried approach. My 'baby back rib' is now 15. Dr. Phang’s enduring impact is profound. MI, you’re SO lucky to have her! -Laura

Caring OBGYN
Almost 6 years later, I wanted to stop by and leave a review about Dr. Phang and how she came through for me at the hardest time of my life. She was my obgyn during my first pregnancy, when everything went fine. But she REALLY came through for me in my second pregnancy. At 11 weeks, she found that our baby had no heartbeat. My body was not miscarrying on my own and my little sister had just tragically died at 18 years old two weeks before. She recommended a d&c, and switched her schedule with another doctor to make sure she was there for me and the one doing it. I am so thankful for her kindness and comfort before/after/&during that surgery. It meant the world to me that she would switch around her schedule/life to be there for me.
