Dr. Laura Henson, MD

I have been seeing her for 4 years now. Although I see her once a year, she remembers things about me, checks on my mental health, recommends books, podcasts and holistic approaches before prescription medicine . She is my family doctor as well as my women's health doctor and I always feel comfortable with her. Highly recommend!

I’ve been seeing Dr. Henson for about two years now and cannot express enough how amazing she is! Always kind and understanding, and you can really tell she knows her stuff. I can’t imagine seeing any other physician, highly recommend!

Dr. Henson has been my PCP for over 4.5 years. She has amazing bedside manner, is courteous, knowledgeable and kind. She has gotten me through a couple of health issues and assists me to maintain and improve my health. I give Dr. Henson my highest recommendation. She is great.

My original doctor left, and Dr. Henson took me as her patient. I went in for my annual wellness check-up. Long story short, she tried to push prescription drugs for elevated blood pressure and doubted me when I said I'll try to lower my BP naturally with a better diet and more exercise. Since my last pap smear was normal, she didn't think I needed one, so instead, we talked about eating more healthily. She asked me to come back in a few weeks, then sends me to get blood work done at the lab next door. A few weeks later, I lost weight and my BP was normal. I didn't go back to see Dr. Henson. After a few months, I received a bill from Dr. Henson's office with a balance owed for "behavioral consultation for obesity" and a bill from the lab which I have never had in all the years I've had insurance. This is usually covered. I called billing a few times to inquire and request Dr. Henson's reason, but she refused to change the code or call me back. She's fired. I go to a different doctor.

Great! Love her approach to natural remedies first before prescribing meds.

Dr. Henson is one smart cookie. She believes in a healthy lifestyle but doesn't judge you for not being in the best shape. I let myself go and felt bad enough about my physical and mental well being. She encouraged me to take better care of myself and provided a path.

The practice might be good overall. The 1 star rating is for Dr. Henson & Linda (the office manager). Dr. Henson does not listen or communicate her plan to patient. Dr. Henson might know how to practice good medicine, though I did not witness that. Linda just does not follow-up without you having to pester her.

LOVE HER. She Is so smart, so calm and she gets an A+ for her skill to communicate with me (patients) at a high level while still communicating in a way which I was able to understand.

Dr. Henson has been amazing as my psychisian for the past 18 months that I've been seeing her. I feel like she's authentic in her care and treatment, and I feel comfortable enough to come to her with any problems I'm having. She's responsive and friendly and I trust her decisions regarding my physical and mental health. Very happy patient!

Dr Henson is very arrogant and wouldn't examine me. she made assessment without any type test. and told me my pain was all in my head

Dr. Henson is a very caring physician who takes time to listen and explains medical terms that's easily understood. She cares about her patients' well-being and genuinely makes the effort to make sure that any health issues are addressed to the patient's satisfaction. I completely trust her as my personal doctor and highly recommend!!!

The most jaded physicians I've ever seen. Clinically lacking in knowledge I told her I have an auto immune disease she said I didn't and looked it up in her pocket physicians dictionary and then said nothing. I've been in heal care my entire life I'm educated and was treated as if I had a physiological problem in which she said why are you tearful have you seen a physcatrist her words because I was extremely sick just out of the hospital still experiencing illness since she didn't have med. Rec.

Dr. Hensen is very skilled non-force chiropractor and every time I have visited her AI found my pain reduced and was back in full movements quickly. I highly recommend her to all.
