Dr. Freedman is very thorough in her evaluation. She asked lots of questions and is very compassionate. The facility, Sylvester Cancer Institute is full of BS. They are full of rules and protocols that MAKE NO SENSE. I have been in the facility several times. I had a CT scan and simulation without a mask and two people in the room. Now, I need to have a COVID test because I can’t wear a mask during radiation. Nobody in the room but me. It doesn’t make sense! If they made me do it prior to CT/simulation I would say okay. But, they are so steeped in BS with NO regard for common sense.

Dr. Freedman saved my life. Her and her staff were professional, caring and helped me through a very difficult time. They were informative and with me all the way. I'm 2 years out and healthy. Thank you.

I had a bad experience with Dr Freedman. Stage 3 Tonsil Cancer. I didn't want Chemo but I agreed to it if I would get a lower dose of radiation. She was too busy to consult until the 3rd week of treatment. Then she told me she upped the radiation dosage "out of an abundance of caution" She forgot about our conversation about chemo and refused to adjust the dosage. 1 year after treatment she felt my neck and jumped back and said she "never saw so much damage" Major complications for life

I could not have asked for better care during my radiation treatment from Dr. Freedman, her NP, the nurses, radiation technicians, and receptionists!

Dr Freedman and her team are the best team of Radiation Oncology professionals I have ever witnessed. Her entire group sincerely cares about their patients, before , during and after treatments.
