Run the other direction. She doesn't listen, and obviously has a vegetarian agenda that she gives all of her patients. She makes a lot of assumptions about you after just meeting. I was diagnosed by another cardiologist with POTS which explained 20 years of symptoms that were getting worse and she laughed at it with her assistant and said she never diagnoses anyone with that (unprofessional) and by looking at me I have bad cholesterol (I don't if she would have checked the lab because I don't eat red meat! Which she didn't even give me the opportunity to say!) sleep apnea (never have) and she could give me weight loss shots if I wanted along with lecturing me for about a half hr on how well she does not eating meat and dismissing any opportunity to tell her my symptoms about almost face planting when I stand up. I went back to my other cardiologist who agreed to take my insurance and thank God. I'm now being listened to and on a treatment plan for my POTS.

I have never been treated so crappy by a doctor ever in my life. I arrived 45 min early to my 11AM appointment to fill out paperwork. glad to be early. I got moved back into a room at 12:00 PM. Waited there for almost another hour. I did talk to one of the staff members and they said it wouldn't be that much longer. Finally, Doctor Fernandes comes in like a wrecking ball. You can tell she was in a hurry. She would ask me a question and then cut me off mid-sentence. She would talk over me to ask another question. She proceeded to verbally assault me with the answers i gave her. She gave me tons of diagnosis that she would have no idea on because there was no test. So, my neck is 19" i must have sleep apnea. I'm sorry I work out and have muscle on my shoulders and neck. But no I do not have sleep apnea. I had a sleep study done not that long ago, and there was no sign of obstructed sleep apnea. Weird, right. When I decided i was done being body shamed by a overqualified plumber, i decided to leave. I asked the Doctor and her assistant to leave the room so I could change. She kept yelling at me, so i just changed so i can leave. Well that got them out of the room. overall, her bedside manner is horrible and pretty much harassment. She literally yells at you when you try to answer, and she doesn't like your answer. She wouldn't let me ask questions " how dare i ask a question going against what she said, i am not a doctor". This lady is quite the narcissist.

Dr. Fernandes has been the best experience I have had, I have been seeing cardiologists since the age of 10 due to a childhood heart condition and I am very particular about my care. From the first day I met her Fernandes has been honest about my care and expectations as my provider. She is very knowledgeable when it comes to heart health and provides tough love because she cares. I travel from Atlanta to my appointments because I know the standard of care and each associate and NP that I have worked with have been thorough and helpful on my journey to optimal health. I highly recommend Dr.Fernandes and her team and no matter where I live I will be her patient.

I really like Dr. Fernandes. She is very personable and caring. She has called me at home before when I had concerns outside of office hours. It seems the office staff has changed. I do miss the ladies who were there when I started seeing her, but the newer staff seems friendly. I trust her with decisions regarding my health.

Dr Fernandes was great as was the staff. Very knowledgeable and has your best interests at heart.

I went to Dr. Fernandes with multiple symptoms. She is very thorough, knowledgeable, and she has a sense of humor- when appropriate. Her findings from testing revealed things far different than the on line symptom checkers. Some in her staff were very helpful. I have recommended and would definitely recommend to someone in need to see a good cardiologist.

Dr. Fernandes and her team are amazing! They’re all friendly, and I never feel rushed. Everyone takes their time to explain tests, results, reasons for tests - everything. I also feel like she’s trying to get to the root of the problem. She truly care about her patients and it comes through in her demeanor and her staff.

She saved my life. I was on my way to a heart attack! This Dr gave me information that can Reverse Heart Disease. Have you see "Forks Over Knives"? The most eye opening thing I've ever seen. For the 1st time I learned that my high blood pressure, high cholesterol, etc. could be reversed by changing my 'lifestyle'. Today I am so thankful to give a good report.
