Dr. Laura Dawson, MD

Simply put the doctor was not there to see my child after having called twice to confirm the appointment. They made us wait for 75 minutes and no one told us she was not in.

Dr. Dawson has been caring for my foster/adoptive children for years. She has always taken the time to make sure the kids are doing great AND mommy is ok. Her compassion and care shown to us over the years has helped us all so much. Never have I felt judged or questioned even at my worst mommy moment. The staff that goes along with this amazing doctor only add to the atmosphere. Everyone is respectful and caring. Can't say enough!

We can not say enough good things. Having two children under 2 we have spent quite a bit of time in and out of the office. She always takes the time to listen and explains things thoroughly. Our children are so comfortable with her. We highly recommend her!

We adored Dr. Laura Dawson!! She is far and away the best pediatrician we could have ever asked for. She is thoughtful, attentive, proactive, intelligent...I could go on. She has always listened (really listened) to any concerns or thoughts I have voiced. She has insightful solutions to questions. And, I have always left feeling supported and empowered as a mom. Can’t say that too often! She takes her time with the kiddos, involving and engaging them in their check up, treating them like smart little people, which makes me (and them) super happy. She also obviously loves kids. I know that seems like it should be an obvious, but not in my experience elsewhere. We had her as our pediatrician for four wonderful years, and unfortunately just moved. We will all miss her more than I could explain. My kids actually liked going to the dr!!! The office has always been able to fit us in. They are great about following up. We really had a wonderful experience here

Dr. Dawson is always punctual, caring, honest, patient, and knowledgeable! Because she has her own children about the same age as mine she is extremely relatable and makes each appointment feel personal. She takes her time and has never made me feel rushed. I highly recommend her as a pediatrician for both the child and the mom!

My girls are 18 months and 2 1/2 and have been seeing dr Dawson since birth. She encouraged breast feeding and I would never take my children any where else!!!

Dawson was curt and alarmist. We chose to breastfeed as naturally as possible. We had an issue where formula supplement was necessary, but Dr. Dawson's bedside manner was actually detrimental. Instead of answering our questions and concerns, she flat out told us if we did not stop breastfeeding and go full formula, our baby would become dehydrated "and die." Anxiety is not good for milk production. The rest of the staff pushed formula on us as hard as possible. 1/5. We felt disrespected.
