Urgent and Honest Review with Dr. Chavez
I am compelled to share my experience with Dr. Laura Chavez, as it is crucial for others to be aware. During my visit for a routine check-up, I encountered several issues. Firstly, the office location was difficult to find due to a lack of clear instructions. Upon arrival, I was met with unprofessional behavior from Doris, the receptionist, which set a negative tone. During my appointment, I was coerced into taking a COVID vaccine despite my initial refusals. This made me uncomfortable. Later, when I was running late for a follow-up appointment, Doris was dismissive and unhelpful, refusing to accommodate my situation. My attempts to address these concerns with Mayra and Dr. Chavez were met with invalidation and dismissal. Dr. Chavez's response to my feedback was disappointing, as she defended her staff and disregarded my concerns. Ultimately, she decided to discontinue my care, prescribing medication as a parting gesture. I plan to file a complaint with the Board of Medical Examiners.
