Fatphobic
Went to get a surgical consult for a tubal ligation and to make sure she informed the surgeon that I'll need to have my iud removed at the time. My iud is in the wrong position and is indenting my uterus and causing me pain. She minimized my pain and undermined me consistently, told me my iud was not the source of pain even though I had imaging done that showed otherwise, neglected to even look at said imaging, said that 'with your bmi being so high it will be difficult to access the pelvic region in surgery' it's a laproscopic procedure and I have spoken to several surgeons who have all said that my weight does not pose an increased risk. While telling me that my iud is not the cause of my pain she gave no other reccomendations for courses of action. She also insisted that I should keep the faulty placed iud in for an additional 5-7 years. I had to demand a surgical consult. I waited 3 months for fatphobic rhetoric and gaslighting.

I had questions about hormone replacement post-oophorectomy and came prepared with several questions - I'm young and was worried about the multiple medical risks to manage. Dr. Bozzuto was incredibly dismissive - she was unwilling to hear my concerns and was antagonistic when I asked questions about some of her recommendations that conflicted with several large studies. She was short and very visibly annoyed - long sighs, rolling her eyes. It was the most weirdly confrontational, unemphatheic, and unkind encounter I've ever had with a doctor. I left feeling totally alone in managing my medical situation - I started over and found a different doctor.

Mastectomy
I had minimal pain after my mastectomy and full range of motion the same day. Dr. Bozzuto was kind and answered all my questions, I never felt rushed. When I went to have the drain removed the nurse commented on how neat the suture line was saying that I would have a minimal scar.
